At the San Diego Center for the Blind, we celebrate people who are blind or have vision loss pursuing careers, exploring the world, and living life on their own terms.

Your generosity helps provide vision rehabilitation, assistive technology training, independent living skills, and transportation all at no cost to our students.

Yesterday was all about making waves! 🌊✨ Our students from the San Diego Center for the Blind had an incredible day filled with surfing, smiles, and unforgettable moments. They embraced the joy, excitement, and freedom of surfing, making the experience truly special. 🏄💙

Their courage, enthusiasm, and adventurous spirit made the day even more meaningful. This event was a beautiful reminder that the ocean is for everyone and that no barrier should stand in the way of trying something new. From catching waves to creating lasting memories, the day was filled with empowerment, inclusion, and so much joy. Here’s to breaking barriers and making the water a place where everyone feels welcome! Thank you to the UrbnSurf team for making this happen! 🌊☀️🤍

Huge thanks to the elks club of vista 💙 they donated a new tv and sound bar to our vista center, and it is already making a difference. bigger screen, clearer sound, better access for everyone who walks through our doors. we are so grateful for neighbors who show up like this 🙌
