As I was being wheeled into the operating room, my mom said, "Where the heck is Wonder Woman when you need her???" I laughed and some of the doctors laughed cause they know what I do.

It has been a tough year and I'm not through everything yet, but I'm strong and I am going to fight just like all the heroes I visit each holiday.

Katie's Heart is coming back stronger than ever. Stay tuned....

Special thank you to the ChildLife specialists....the real life super heroes .... at Banner UMC Diamond Children's who patiently walk floor to floor and room to room, helping me pick the right toy for each patient. There are heroes among us ❤....and I am so lucky to know them. Also thanks again to Ari Carlson for making tonight possible.
