Marcelineans of San Diego, Inc MSDI is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization,501(C) 3. It consists of 396 members who are natives of San Marcelino and/or of SMZ descent.

Our missions are to foster brotherhood and fellowship and to endeavor to support worthwhile causes in SD and in SMZ

Jeanne Beltran Aratea – 2026 MSDI Scholarship Recipient

Jeanne Beltran Aratea, daughter of Efren Aratea and Imelda Beltran, is a proud graduate of Morse High School, Class of 2025, where she earned an impressive 3.81 GPA.

Jeanne is currently attending Southwestern College and is majoring in Preparation for Allied Health Programs (A.A.). She serves on the executive board of the college’s Pre-Nursing Club and has been recognized for her academic excellence by receiving the President’s List Award.

Dedicated to helping others through healthcare, Jeanne aspires to become a Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN). Through her academic achievements, leadership involvement, and commitment to serving children and families, she demonstrates the determination and compassion that will help her succeed in the nursing profession.

Congratulations to Jeanne Beltran Aratea, a deserving recipient of the 2026 MSDI Scholarship.

Our family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has sent prayers , kind messages , and words of comfort following the passing of our beloved mother on March 10, 2026. Your compassion , support, and thoughtful expressions of sympathy have brought great comfort to our family during this difficult time .

Eufemia Felarca Correa passed away at 99. Announcement by her son, Mark Correa.
“It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of our beloved mother today, March 10, 2026, at 12:50 pm. She was just 17 days away from celebrating her 100th birthday. Our family is deeply grateful for the many years of love, wisdom, and memories she shared with us. She lived a long and meaningful life and will always remain in our hearts. Funeral and Interment Service details will be announced once our family completes the arrangements with El Camino Mortuary. Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.”
