Cambodian Village Fund

Cambodian Village Fund Education empowers. We help children in Cambodia by building schools and giving college sponsorships. https://linktr.ee/cambodianvillagefund.org

We believe in the power of education. The fund builds schools, media centers, libraries, stadiums and dormitories. We have a free English Learning Program that is attended by over 500 students. We provide clean drinking water, conduct eye clinics, distribute school uniforms and we have a scholarship program that enables students to pursue university degrees. The Fund was started by Bill & Nancy B

amberger in 2006. 99% of our donations go directly to projects in Cambodia. We are focused on Prey Touch Commune, a rural area near Battambang (the second largest city in Cambodia).

For our 20th anniversary we invited scholarship students and teachers to take pictures wearing CVF T-shirts. See their smiles and pride in our 20th anniversary photo series that will be shared over the coming weeks.

Credit for the group pictures go to Battambang photographer Sayon SARET SAYON សារ៉េត សាយ័ន who kindly donated his time and expertise for a special photo shooting session with the students. 🙏😁

Hurray for healthy teeth! In a joined effort with University of Puthisastra (UP) students in primary and secondary school learned the importance of good oral hygiene and how to take care of their teeth. A team of 30 medical students and faculty made the trip from Phnom Penh to Prey Touch Commune to spend the day teaching and interacting with the children. It was an inspirational day. The medical students were committed to serving in the community. The kids were inspired by the visit from University students and doctors. It was a day that filled hearts with joy, made people smile and started dreams about the future. A BIG thank you goes to the University outreach team, school teachers and our program director Zion.

In 2012 a group of CVF supporters and curious travelers joined Bill and Nancy on a unforgettable trip to Cambodia. They witnessed firsthand the impact the charity was having in rural Cambodia. During the visit, a new school building was celebrated, and bicycles were distributed to students, so they could get to school. The group also visited historical and cultural sites in Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, to learn about Cambodia's history, people, and traditions.
