🚜 Saturday we returned to Guadalupe and removed 74 lbs of landfill in one hour!

🗑️ If you’ve ever been to one of our cleanups, you know we all get together at the end and talk about our trash and learn more about it.

💪🏽 This time, we asked if anyone wanted to share their own eco journey or changes they’ve made to live a more sustainable lifestyle.

🏆Here were some tips

💡keep a reusable bag in the car
💡buy larger items in bulk instead of individually wrapped
💡making coffee at home/bringing a reusable mug with you to your favorite shop
💡investing in reusable straws

🙏🏾 We are so grateful for these cleanups, for all of the individuals that want to join, to challenge themselves, to help create a safe space to learn and to support one another.

Yesterday, our volunteers removed 163 lbs of landfill and more items we sent to be recycled.

We hadn’t been back to Guad in months and knew our first Central Coast cleanup of 2023 would be here.

The week of the cleanup, our friends from reached out to inform us that the community was asking for an after storm cleanup.

We learned 44 families were displaced after the rains brought serious flooding to this small town and immense amounts of waste were left on the floors afterwards.

The community here is so strong, loving, continues to work together to help one another and ensure each others health and safety.

We are grateful to have been able to aid in the process and will continue to support how we can.

Our next Central Coast cleanup will be Sat. Feb 25.

First cleanup of the year and we removed 40.5 lbs of trash in one hour 🌞

🚜 Santa! Always a beautiful rise when we back at home!

🗑️ 21 lbs landfill and 601 butts removed from our Earth’s floor yesterday.

🧠 Volunteers this round had questions and input that had us all working our brains..SHARED KNOWLEDGE IS THE BEST KNOWLEDGE.

🥹 We could not be more grateful for the opportunities to bring these cleanups together for our communities.

😎 Today in South Park!

🗑 Squad removed 5lbs of landfill, 511 cigarette butts and a s**t ton of recyclables in only one hour.

🦺 Thought this last minute cleanup would be canceled, so damn happy we didn't. The feeling after these events are truly the best ways to bring yourself back to life.

🚬 So many things we have to catch up on, like how we are recycling cigarette butts!?!

🚬 Yeah. That's a thing now and we're doing it.

Will report more on that later, but for now.. be good to yourself and the 🌍
