THE COOPER FAMILY FOUNDATION IS A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT RAISES MONEY FOR JUNETEENTH (BLACK INDEPENDENCE DAY) EVERY YEAR. WELL LETS US TELL YOU ITS IMPORTANCE: Juneteenth is a celebration of Black Independence Day. This day is marked by the date of June 19, 1865, when troops delivered the message to the last of the southern slaves that slavery had been abolished. As of June 2021 Juneteenth b

ecame a national recognized holiday. Although it has been widely recognized and celebrated throughout the United States as Black Independence Day in the African-American communities.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of the incredible vendors supporting this year’s Cooper Family Foundation Juneteenth Celebration! Those who are new and returning If you do not see your business listed, please know it was not intentional. If you have submitted a completed application and payment, please rest assured that you are on our vendor list.

We have so many amazing vendors joining us that we will be highlighting everyone businesses in posts throughout the days leading up to Juneteenth.

We appreciate your patience and look forward to showcasing each of you as we count down to Juneteenth!

Need a ride to our Juneteenth Healing the Community Festival? We’ve got you covered!

📍 Pickup Locations:
1️⃣ Community Baptist Church
3602 National Ave, San Diego, CA 92113

2️⃣ Trinity Baptist Church
3146 Ocean View Blvd, San Diego, CA 92113

3️⃣ Trolley Station
32nd & Commercial, San Diego, CA 92113

4️⃣ Old Logan Heights Library
811 S. 28th St, San Diego, CA 92113

5️⃣ Trolley Stop
47th & Market, San Diego, CA 92113

Shuttle service will operate between these designated pickup locations and Memorial Park throughout the event.

Please note:
• Van space is limited and you may be asked to consolidate your belongings before boarding.
• Riders will return to their original pickup location.
• This is a FREE service, and we kindly ask for your patience and consideration as we serve the community.

🚨 FRIENDLY REMINDERS: JUNETEENTH 2026 🚨

As we prepare for our annual Juneteenth Celebration, please take a moment to familiarize yourself with a few important DO’s & DON’Ts for the day of the event to help us ensure a safe, smooth, and enjoyable experience for everyone in attendance.

Please remember this event is centered around COMMUNITY, CULTURE, FAMILY, and CELEBRATION. We appreciate everyone’s cooperation as we continue a tradition that has served our community for over 50 years.

We look forward to celebrating with you all! ✨and don’t forget to wear your ALL WHITE.
