BabyFlix Foundation was born from an unlikely reunion — and a shared moment of clarity that changed everything.
Kevin Knapp and Robert Allen first crossed paths in the medical equipment industry, where Kevin specialized in leasing and financing equipment and Robert sold ultrasound machines to OB/GYN physicians and women’s health centers. They understood the technology, they understood the clinical world, and they understood the women those machines were built to serve.
Then life moved on — for nearly 15 years.
When they reconnected, Robert had been quietly building something extraordinary: BabyFlix.ai, a proprietary technology platform that transforms routine ultrasound imaging into a deeply personal experience for expectant mothers. The moment Kevin saw what it could do, he saw something Robert hadn’t fully seen yet — a mission hiding inside a technology.
At around 16 weeks, a mother can look at her ultrasound and, for the first time, truly see her baby. Not just a shape on a screen — but a face, a future, a life. Kevin knew immediately that if a young mother in crisis could have that moment, it could change her decision. It could save a life.
Robert had built something powerful. What it needed was a purpose worthy of that power.
What Robert hadn’t yet fully appreciated was the size, the depth, and the urgency of the pro-life movement in America. As he immersed himself in that world, he was amazed. And that’s when the two of them made a pivotal decision together: BabyFlix.ai would be repositioned not simply as a consumer experience, but as a life-affirming tool — one with the power to meet a mother in her most vulnerable moment and remind her of the irreplaceable value of the life she was carrying.
That conviction is now at the center of everything. BabyFlix.ai is being actively rebranded and remarketed around its life-affirming mission — and the foundation exists to put that tool in the hands of the mothers who need it most.
Where We Are Today
BabyFlix Foundation has grown into something neither of them could have imagined in that early conversation. We are building the first truly comprehensive support ecosystem for young mothers — one place where a mom in need can find everything:
