✨ NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS & NOMINATIONS! ✨

Like Our Own Nonprofit is excited to announce the launch of our Ready to Shine Back-to-School Program!

We believe every child deserves to walk into the classroom feeling confident, prepared, and ready to succeed.

Through this program, we will be selecting children to receive a FREE Back-to-School Package, which includes:

🎒 Backpack filled with school supplies
👟 A new pair of shoes
🧦 Socks & underwear
💇 Haircut or hairstyle

This program is open to families who need a little extra support, and we also encourage teachers, neighbors, friends, churches, and community members to nominate a child who could benefit.

Our 3rd Annual Spring Giveaway & Family Fun Festival is happening in just a few days on April 4th from 11AM–4PM at La Mesita Park.

Bring the kids, enjoy the day, and come be part of a positive and fun community event. We’d love to see you there.

We’re getting closer to our 3rd Annual Spring Giveaway & Family Fun Festival and we’re so excited to bring the community together once again.

Join us on April 4th from 11AM–4PM at La Mesita Park for a fun day filled with activities for kids, food, giveaways, and family connection.

Events like this are only possible because of community support, and we truly look forward to seeing everyone come out and enjoy the day.

As we continue preparing for our 3rd Annual Spring Giveaway & Family Fun Festival on April 4th, Like Our Own is welcoming additional volunteers who would like to be part of this meaningful community event.

Volunteer roles will include assisting with activity stations, supporting families, helping with setup and cleanup, and contributing to a positive experience for youth and attendees.

Looking back on moments from this past December when we had the opportunity to give back to members of our community experiencing homelessness. 💙

Through Like Our Own, we believe that showing compassion, being present, and offering support can make a real difference in someone’s day. These experiences continue to remind us why this work is so important and why we remain committed to serving our community.

We are grateful for everyone who stands beside us, volunteers their time, and supports our mission to uplift youth and families while also reaching those in need.

Together, we can continue creating positive change.
