On Saturday, July 11 at 5 PM, we’re encouraging our SCP community to show up for The Space Between: Black & Asian Men in Brotherhood — a powerful evening of film, dialogue, mental health, healing, and connection at Graffiti Gardens.

This gathering brings Black and Asian men together in story, vulnerability, and brotherhood — asking a question more of us should be asking:

What does healing look like when we don’t do it alone?

We’re especially grateful to support this event because Maxx Moses has been a friend, supporter, and collaborator of Sister Cities Project over the years. He is rooted in Southeast San Diego, the community SCP continues to stand with, invest in, and build alongside.

Today we launched The Day After: A July 5th Campaign to Finish the Promise — a campaign to raise $300,000 by October 2 to fund the next major phase of SCP’s work.

EcoAgency™ — creating paid pathways for Black youth and young adults.
