On day 4 of the full-scale invasion, Karolina was just 4 years old when she and her mom barely escaped Mariupol with their lives. They lost their house, their car, their livelihood.. Today, her strength speaks through every note, every movement. For the past four years, our community has been honored to witness their resilience, courage, and extraordinary talent. This little girls has been singing at the rallies in support of Ukraine weekly for 4 years now helping Shield of Freedom to raise money for Ukraine’s defenders.
This St. Patrick’s Day, we also remember and honor the Irish fighters for freedom who gave their lives in the Irish struggle — a reminder that the fight for dignity and independence connects us across generations and borders.
