San Diego's Centro Cultural de la Raza was founded in 1970 as a Chicano Community Cultural Center and functions as an alternative space that encourages and facilitates artistic growth and cultural interchange in the San Diego/Tijuana region. 🎨 Opening Art Exhibition!

A special shoutout to Monarch School for exhibiting artwork created by nearly 50 talented student artists. We are so excited to have our youth exhibition, Rooted in Wonder, on view through June 28.

A heartfelt thank you to Teacher Xaxa for this incredible exhibition and for all of the hard work, dedication, and encouragement you provide your students as they create these amazing works of art.

Join collage artist Chop x Dice for a hands-on collage workshop using vintage magazines, found images, and layering techniques. Learn about composition, color, and creating intuitively while making your own framed collage to take home.

Chop x Dice is a San Diego collage artist working with vintage magazines, found images, and printed materials to create layered hand-cut collages and installations. Each work is built through experimentation, intuition, and contrast, transforming forgotten materials into new visual stories.
