Take a long walk with us 10 years down memory lane. Today, celebrates their 10 year anniversary, and we have had the pleasure of seeing Dan & Paul’s vision come to life bigger than anyone could have imagined. Hard work? Yes. Grit? Yes. But their success is driven by them doing an exceptional job at what’s right, always.

They have absolutely dominated the marketplace, but today we want to recognize what Batta Fulkerson has done in our lives. In many ways, we owe our start to them. They were our very first sponsor nearly 10 years ago now! Back before our mission was solidified, they woke up on their weekends to provide bagels, coffee, and dog toys to our dog training outreach. Since then, has shown up personally to nearly every one of our events, just to check in to see how it’s going. They are not just sponsors, they’re supporters. They volunteer, they man booths, carry cases of supplies in after a long day of work, and they care.

So cheers to ALL the success this last 10 years have brought, and here’s to another decade of doing things the right way! 🙌🏼🇺🇸✨ Let’s go!!!

A few days ago, we were stopped by a random person who saw the mission on the back of our car. It’s not unusual for people to stop us, honk, or give a thumbs up, but this woman got out of her car and asked if she could pray for us.

She prayed for our veterans and said the most beautiful words about our Gold Star Families. It was a great reminder that there are so many people out there who deeply care about our service members and acknowledge the sacrifices that our families have given. Just a regular day, regular people, but a deep appreciation for the life these men have given us through their sacrifice. So here’s a reminder that people still deeply care and see you, on more days than just the calendar ones. 🇺🇸

Today we hold space for two powerful truths.

On this Gold Star Spouses Day, we honor the strength, sacrifice, and enduring love of those who carry the legacy of their fallen heroes every single day. Your resilience does not go unseen, and your loved ones are never forgotten.

And on this Easter Sunday, we’re reminded that even in the deepest loss, there is hope, renewal, and light.

Today, we stand with our Gold Star spouses, holding both grief and hope, remembrance and renewal.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year…but why is that? We have a feeling it’s because the most important parts of life are suddenly made time for. We take the time to plan holiday dinners with one another, create intentional Christmas memories, bake cookies for neighbors, exchange community-building traditions, and most important, give thanks for all the joy in our lives. We challenge each of you to reflect on what you’re thankful for this year, and after reading this, reach out to one person you’re especially grateful for. Tell them what they mean to you and why you’re happy they’re in your life. We got a chance to practice some gratitude with our Gold Star Families and veteran mentors, and it’s such a privilege to share the import things with the people you love!

It’s Thanksgiving week and our gratitude is off the charts for our community! 🦃 Thanks to everyone’s support, we were able to host a BEAUTIFUL Thanksgiving dinner, curated by the incredible chefs at to celebrate the important things in life: time together and creating memories.

We look forward to sharing more from this event this week as we take time to cozy into this season of thanksgiving.
