We are proud to officially welcome Tut Geng as an Executive Director of the RAAN Vision FOUNDATION.

Tut Geng is the founder of the NAATH BASKETBALL FOUNDATION, an organization dedicated to empowering youth, strengthening faith, and developing athletic talent, especially among children from refugee communities. Through sports, mentorship, and community engagement, the foundation has created life-changing opportunities for many young people while promoting unity and hope.

Under Tut’s leadership, Naath Basketball has organized impactful initiatives such as the Naath Peace Tournament, bringing communities together through the power of sport. The foundation has also connected youth with inspiring role models.

Tut Geng brings visionary leadership, deep community commitment, and a passion for youth development that aligns strongly with RAAN Vision Foundation’s mission to empower and uplift our people across the diaspora and beyond.

Our First Layer Is Established

As part of building our organizational structure, RAAN Vision FOUNDATION has successfully established its first layer: NEXT-GEN Blueprint Basketball

This program will be our starting point in strengthening health, wellness, discipline, character, and academic responsibility among young people. We believe deeply that being a student-athlete is one of the most powerful paths to building strong, successful, purpose-driven individuals. Across nations, student-athletes have become leaders, innovators, and community builders—and we want our youth to share in that same opportunity.

NEXT-GEN Blueprint Basketball is more than a sports program. It is a leadership incubator, a discipline builder, and a gateway to opportunities. It represents the foundation of our youth development layer, and we are proud for it to be the first official initiative under the RAAN Vision Foundation.

RAAN Vision Foundation – Leadership Positions by Layer

1. Youth Development through Sports
Position: Director of Youth Development & Athletics

Responsibilities:
• Oversee all youth athletic programs, including NEXT-GEN Blueprint Basketball
• Promote health, wellness, and academic growth through sports
• Develop student-athletes into leaders and role models
• Partner with schools, coaches, and community organizations

2. Entrepreneurship & Startups Position: Director of Entrepreneurship & Innovation

Responsibilities:
•Lead programs supporting youth and adult entrepreneurs
• Build partnerships with startup ecosystems locally and globally
• Mentor program participants in business development and financial literacy
• Connect participants with professional networks, workshops, and resources

3. Community Development & Engagement
Position: Director of Community Development & Engagement

Responsibilities:
• Strengthen local and global community initiatives
• Implement leadership, cultural, and educational programs
• Promote dialogue, peacebuilding, and civic engagement
• Organize community events, gatherings, and collaborative projects

4. Embracing Diversity & Global Citizenship Position: Director of Diversity & Global Initiatives

Responsibilities:
• Develop programs celebrating cultural diversity and inclusion
• Promote global citizenship and cross-cultural understanding
• Partner with organizations worldwide to uplift marginalized communities
• Ensure RAAN Vision Foundation embodies values of equity, respect, and shared responsibility

Layer Four: Embracing Diversity & Global Citizenship

Our fourth layer is dedicated to celebrating diversity and fostering global citizenship.

We recognize that we are part of a larger global community. By embracing diversity, RAAN Vision Foundation seeks to:
• Promote inclusion and equality
• Uplift all people as fellow citizens of our planet
• Build cross-cultural understanding and collaboration
• Inspire compassion, respect, and shared responsibility

This layer emphasizes that true impact comes not only from serving our immediate community but also from connecting with, learning from, and uplifting others around the world.

Research: Nuer Community Needs & Wants Project

In alignment with all four layers, RAAN Vision Foundation has launched a Research Project on the Nuer Community’s Needs and Wants.

This initiative ensures our programs are guided by accurate, community-driven insights and helps us prioritize the most impactful support for youth, families, and leaders globally.

RAAN Vision Foundation has now fully established its four-layer framework:
1. Youth Development through Sports
2. Entrepreneurship & Startups
3. Community Development & Engagement
4. Embracing Diversity & Global Citizenship

Layer Three: Community Development & Engagement

Our third layer is the heart of RAAN Vision FOUNDATION: community development and deep engagement.

This layer focuses on strengthening the social, cultural, and civic foundations of our people—both locally and globally. Community development is how we build unity, restore identity, and create shared purpose.

Layer Three will focus on:
• Community wellness and empowerment programs
• Cultural preservation and education
• Youth and family support initiatives
• Leadership development workshops
• Dialogue, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution
• Community events, gatherings, and engagement spaces
• Building bridges between African, diaspora, and global communities

This layer ensures that our people not only grow as individuals, but also grow together. It is where we build trust, belonging, and collective strength.

Community is the root of everything we do, and this layer grounds the entire RAAN Vision movement.

Research: Nuer Community Needs & Wants Project

As part of our commitment to community-centered development, RAAN Vision Foundation has launched a Research Project on the Nuer Community’s Needs and Wants.

This research initiative is designed to:
• Listen directly to our people
• Understand their challenges and priorities
• Identify gaps in support, leadership, and development
• Guide our programs with accurate community data
• Build a long-term blueprint for Nuer youth, families, and global communities

This research project represents our belief that true development begins with understanding the voices of our people. It will guide our programs, partnerships, and future layers of the RAAN Vision Foundation.

RAAN Vision Foundation has now established its first three layers and launched an important research initiative. With clarity, purpose, and preparation, 2026 will mark the official beginning of our work across nations.
