Honored to attend the 40th anniversary of Spirit of the Barrio hosted by . An incredible event bringing together leaders, advocates, and community members focused on the importance of mental health, community support, and breaking the stigma surrounding mental illness.

Thank you to Keith Lyons, Kyra Seay, Myrian Solis, and Colonel Crom for sharing such meaningful conversations around how we can better support mental wellness in our communities. The food, the people, and the heart behind this event were truly amazing.

It was a privilege to attend and represent Thrive Maternal Health Fund. Looking forward to future collaboration and continuing the important work of supporting healthier, stronger communities together. 💛

Every mother deserves to be seen, heard, and supported.

May is Maternal Mental Health Awareness Month, and today, May 6th, is World Maternal Mental Health Day. Yet here in America, one of the leading contributors to maternal mortality is su***de related to postpartum mood and anxiety disorders.

1 in 5 mothers globally will struggle with PMADs during pregnancy or postpartum. These are not simply “baby blues.” These are real, treatable conditions that can affect women any time during pregnancy and throughout the first year after birth.

At Thrive Maternal Health Fund, we are working to change this by providing maternal mental health visits, early intervention, compassionate support, referrals, and community care for mothers who too often fall through the cracks.

So many women are silently suffering while trying to care for everyone else.

Your donation helps provide:
• Maternal mental health support visits
• Early postpartum check-ins
• Resources and referrals
• Compassionate care for struggling mothers
• Support for low-income and underserved families

We cannot continue to ignore the mental health crisis affecting mothers in America. Healthy mothers create healthy families, healthy communities, and healthier future generations.

Please help us prevent tragedies before they happen.

Donate today and help us remind mothers they are not alone. ❤️

Today, on International Day of the Midwife, we are being called to something bigger.

The world needs ONE MILLION more midwives.

This is not just a statistic. This is mothers. This is babies. This is families who deserve safe, supported, respectful care.

Midwives improve outcomes, reduce unnecessary interventions, and provide the kind of care that changes lives before, during, and after birth. And yet, there is still a global shortage of nearly 1 million midwives.

This is where we step in.

At Thrive Maternal Health Fund, we are actively helping close this gap by funding midwifery care, postpartum home visits, maternal mental health support, pregnancy loss care, and connecting families to essential resources. We pay providers directly so women can receive the care they need, when they need it, regardless of income.

Your donation does not sit in an account. It goes straight to supporting real mothers, real babies, and real care in our community.

If we want safer births, healthier mothers, and thriving communities, we must invest in midwifery care now.

Donate today. Share this message. Be part of the change.

Black Maternal Health Week

This week matters.

In the United States, Black women continue to face significantly higher risks during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. This is not just a statistic. These are mothers, families, and babies who deserve to be seen, heard, and cared for.

At Thrive Maternal Health Fund, we believe every woman deserves safe, supported, and respectful care. We are committed to being part of the solution by providing access to midwifery support, postpartum care, mental health services, and community resources.

Real change happens when we listen, when we show up, and when we work together to raise the standard of care.

We honor the strength of Black mothers. We stand with you. And we will continue doing the work.
