Si creemos en el poder de Jesús, ¿por qué llegamos a tener tanto miedo? ¿Por qué nos preocupamos tanto?

Jesús estaba con Sus discípulos cuando se encontraron en medio de una gran tormenta, y ellos se llenaron de miedo. Esa tormenta representa la vida de muchos de nosotros en este momento. ¿Y recordamos lo que Jesús les dijo? «Hombres de poca fe».

Puede sonar duro, pero en el mundo espiritual nunca se ha tratado del resultado que obtengamos en este mundo, del trabajo o de las finanzas. Se trata de nuestra fe en Él.

Necesitamos mantener exactamente la misma confianza cuando las cosas van bien y cuando van mal, porque Él no ha cambiado.

Por eso debemos caminar por fe, sin importar cómo nos sintamos, porque nuestros sentimientos pueden engañarnos. Nuestro fundamento no son nuestros sentimientos; nuestro fundamento es nuestra fe en Cristo.

If we believe in the power of Jesus, why do we become so afraid? So worried?

Jesus was with His disciples when they encountered a massive storm, and they became afraid. That storm represents the lives of many of us right now. And do we remember what Jesus said? “O ye of little faith.”

It may sound harsh, but in the spiritual world, it has never been about the outcome in this world—the job or the finances. It’s about our faith in Him.

We need to have the exact same confidence in our faith when things are going right and when things are going wrong, because He has not changed.

So we need to walk by faith, no matter how we feel, because feelings can deceive us. Our foundation is not our feelings; our foundation is our faith in Christ.

“And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.”

La fe nunca prospera tan bien como con las pruebas. Cuando enfrentamos pruebas y nos aferramos a las promesas de Dios, nuestra fe aumenta en calidad y seguridad. Esta fe mayor que surge de la prueba es capaz de remover montañas y vencer imposibilidades. Por más difícil que cualquier situación sea, debemos saber que Dios es capaz de convertir cualquier adversidad en una bendición. A través de las tormentas y el apoyo del Señor en medio de una inundación, experimentamos la fuerza de Dios de primera mano, y vemos que El nunca abandona a quienes invocan Su Nombre. Faith never prospers so well as with trials. When we face trials and cling to God’s promises, our faith increases in quality, and assurance. This increased and intense faith that comes from being tested is capable of removing mountains and conquering impossibilities. As hard as it may be, we must know that God is able to turn any adversity into a blessing. Through storms and the Lord’s support in the middle of a flood, we experience God’s strength first-hand, never deserting those who call upon His Name. Let us not falter, for faith in the Lord’s power moves His hand in our favor.

God is bigger than whatever we are up against. Many of us have heard the story of David, a shepherd boy who defeated a giant with a slingshot and a stone. Goliath was over nine feet tall and towered over the best of Israel’s fighting men. It’s likely any anxiety or pending problem looks a lot bigger and more powerful than you, too. But, one of the many things the devil lies about is the size of your giant. Today, we decide to choose where we focus our attention to. We can fix our eyes on the giant, or we can lift our eyes higher to the God of heaven and earth. With the Almighty in view, any giant will be resized by God’s greatness.
