Hello! Teen Volunteers in Action (TVIA) is an organization of young men who, together with their families, are committed to developing community leaders through a structured program of volunteerism, philanthropy, and personal development.

TVIA is comprised of approx. 30 members per class in grades 7-12. The first chapter was established in 2000, and there are 6 San Diego chapters today.

The TVIA Point Loma chapter was launched in September 2019, and we currently have members in grades 7, 8, 9 and 10.

With a parent, the boys are required to volunteer at 5 events per year. We have a robust team of volunteers that coordinate these philanthropy opportunities monthly. This year, TVIA Point Loma (SD6) has worked with several dozen charities, including:
• Bridge of Hope
• Friends of Cats
• Joan Kroc/Salvation Army
• Miracle League
• My Girlfriend’s Closet
• Ronald McDonald House (RMH)
• Surfrider Foundation
• Thursday Club Rummage Sale
• Traveling Stories
• UCSD Bannister House
• Wreaths Across America
