Calling all Tecolote Baseball Families & Neighbors…YEP, YOU! This opening weekend the kids are at it again! They’re collecting toiletries for the Monarch School (an amazing SD school that educates & supports unhoused youth). Hoping for 100% participation so please have your athlete drop their donations in the bins by each field or by the snack bar. THANK YOU for teaching our kids how cool it is to give back to the community! Let’s knock this out of the park! TECO! LOTE! ⚾️❤️⚾️❤️⚾️❤️

Teaching them young about generosity of time and spirit. Turns out the lesson about giving back was easy…they loved every minute of volunteering to serve meals at Father Joe’s Village on two occasions this month. They definitely raised spirits, especially for the younger kids that came through our line…a mini dance party may have ensued . 🥰🙏😂

THX to Tecolote Youth Baseball & everyone that donated sports gear! Finally got a chance to organize so we can get it all back in the game with a new kid. Sorting the crazy mountain of gear was actually quite rewarding in an OCD kind of way. Handing a kid a baseball bag filled with a glove, helmet, bat & balls will be REALLY awesome! Other balls ⚽️ 🏀 🏈 headed to local rec centers & so much more. We even received golf clubs, lacrosse gear, tennis rackets & a hockey stick! We also have cleats for days. If you know of a young athlete in need of gear, please message us privately and we’ll see if we have a good match size-wise. THANK U!!!!

Time to go through your garage, bins, bags and other sports gear storage and play it forward by donating too small and/or no longer needed sports gear (all sports, not just baseball). Big need for basketballs, soccer balls, etc.. Drop off at Tecolote Youth Baseball Sat Feb 26 (opening day!) and make an aspiring athlete’s day!
