Attention all cat lovers! Want to open your home to a rescued kitten and make a real difference in their life? Become a foster!

We are currently looking for new fosters. Unfortunately, many of our amazing fosters are unavailable, which means our kitten intake numbers have been extremely low. We would love to open our rescue to new faces and save more lives, but we can’t do it without the support of our community!

If you’re interested in fostering with us, please reach out! We do have an application process, and once you’re approved, we’ll help get you all set up and ready for your new foster baby.

Fostering is such a rewarding experience. You get to watch a vulnerable kitty grow, learn, and find their confidence while giving them the second chance they deserve. You become an incredibly important part of their journey to a forever home.

Crumb deserves his forever home!!

He’s been waiting for so long, and we’re starting to worry that he’s growing up here without anyone giving him a chance. This shy little guy has been with us for quite some time now, and despite being neutered, vaccinated, and fully vetted, he hasn’t received a single adoption inquiry.

Crumb is a very shy and quiet kitty who takes some time to feel comfortable around people. He may not be the type of cat who immediately runs up to greet you, but with patience, love, and a little time, he has so much potential to blossom. He just needs someone who is willing to see past his shyness and give him the chance he deserves.

If you’re not quite ready to commit to adoption, Crumb can also be fostered. Fostering him could give him the opportunity to build confidence in a home environment while he waits for his forever family.

Nina’s siblings have all found their forever homes, but somehow, this sweet girl was left behind despite having a few interests that never followed through. She watched as all her siblings got chosen, yet she’s still waiting patiently for someone to see just how special she is. 🥺

Meet Bear & Jett! 🖤

Hello, I’m Bear! I am a sweet 3-month-old medium hair boy with a sensitive side and a curious spirit. Coming from the streets, I can be a little timid when meeting new people at first, but don't let that fool you, a few tasty treats and a gentle touch are all it takes to unlock my loving nature. Once I know I'm safe, I turn into a total cuddle bug who loves to investigate every nook and cranny of the house. My favorite things in the world are cozy lap naps, my toy mice, loose socks, and of course, tumbling around with my brother Jett. If you have a little patience to let me warm up, I’ll reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and sweet affection.

Hi there, I’m Jett! I am a 3-month-old medium hair guy with a big personality and an even bigger heart. You could say I’m the ultimate adventurer. I'm super outgoing, active, and always ready to explore every inch of the room. Whether I’m zooming up cat trees, chasing down my favorite toys, or wrestling with my brother Bear, I bring 100% of my energy to everything I do. I wear my heart on my sleeve, and if I’m happy (which is pretty much all the time!), you’ll know it right away by my ridiculously loud, rumbling purr. If you're looking for a fun, confident, and loving buddy to keep life exciting, I’m your guy!

Our sweet little Crumb is looking for a dedicated foster or an adopter!

Meet Crumb, a feral kitten we took in a few months ago. Since being in our care, he has grown & come out of his shell a lot! Although shy at first, if given the chance to get comfortable, he is the sweetest, most playful little man ever. Crumb would do best in a home that will be patient with him as he continues to build up his confidence. He also would do great in a home with other cats or kittens. Ducky & Nina are our 4 month old tabby siblings who are still looking for forever homes. Ducky is a sweetheart and will nudge you with his head asking for belly rubs, and Nina is playful and loves to run around all day with her toys. Both kittens are very affectionate and would get along great with other cats in the home. If you have ever considered adopting…now is the perfect time! 🎉 Exciting news! Chihiro is officially ready for adoption and can’t wait to find his forever home! 🐈‍⬛

For those who have been following his journey, you know that Chihiro has overcome incredible challenges. Abandoned after hours at a high kill shelter, he arrived in our care extremely ill and unable to process any food. After being diagnosed with salmonella, Chihiro showed immense strength and resilience during his recovery. He is now neutered, vaccinated, tested, and eager to meet his forever family!

While Chihiro may be a bit shy at first, he quickly warms up and reveals his sweet personality. Currently located in San Diego, he’s just a click away for those interested—please submit an application!

One of Chihiro’s standout features is his stunning coat. Initially having just a small patch of white on his chest, that white has now spread beautifully across his body. Veterinarians are curious whether this transformation is due to a fever coat, as his coloring becomes more smoky each day. Only time will tell if this unique look will stay with him or if he’ll transition to a solid black coat! 🖤

Emy serves our director and is the main point of contact with new partnerships, shelters, and our advisor for medical treatment. We are so fortunate to have her in Femme Felines as her lifelong knowledge of neo-natal kitten care is vital to how our organization is run. She is our go-to for any emergencies, and we know we can count on her to be there when it matters the most. She is also the best foster mommy, and makes time to spoil her foster babies despite having a busy schedule. 🥹

Hi everyone!

Femme Felines team here. We just wanted to come on to express our gratitude for all the support we’ve recieved since we first shared the catastrophic news about our storage unit being broken into. Times like these are hard, but it also reminds us how beautiful our little community can be when we come together. Without the support of you guys, we wouldn’t be able to continue doing what we love the most. So from the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU! 🙏🏼
