It was an honor to return this year with Reef the Recycling Whale, our beloved art installation made entirely out of repurposed materials ๐Ÿ‹โ™ป๏ธ

Last year, we shared our visionโ€”this year, we brought her to life.

Sustainability isnโ€™t just a conceptโ€”itโ€™s a commitment. And as the planet faces increasing environmental challenges, we must pivot our focus and take action to protect ๐Œ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐„๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ก. ๐ŸŒฑ

Reef stands as a tangible example of whatโ€™s possible when we creatively rethink our waste. Instead of ending up in a landfill, discarded materials became a powerful model for change and education. ๐Ÿ™Œ

Check out our Earth Day Beach Cleanup!

Thank you to the 100+ participants that came out to work together as a community in collecting, sorting, and educating ourselves on waste deposal!

We collected roughly 100 pounds that was sorted into recyclables, nonrecyclables, and compost.

Cans4Books collected the CRV recyclables and disposed of the compost.

Several of you asked when the next beach cleanup will beโ€ฆ. So we set it for Saturday, June 15th, same place & time ๐Ÿ™‚
