I’m going to make one last recommendation that you watch the Netflix documentary “The Greatest Night in Pop”. This is why. It’s hilarious, the stories are WILD, and it absolutely took me back to childhood. I keep rewatching it and can recite many lines (“Lion-el, this is my chimpanzee, Bubbles.”) What??

But this is also why. It demonstrates so much. The different types & examples of leadership. The strength in diversity. The POWER of music. And the overarching proof that when God puts people together, people who see a problem (or crisis) and want to do something about it, nothing can stop it. We Are the World was imperfect but inclusive, messy but magical. Also people with disabilities contributed mightily. This wasn’t just a hit, it was historic. We still have so many social ills. But this project was a template for a cure. Check Your Ego at the Door. Anything is Possible.
