Read It Again San Diego A book donation initiative which encourages families to donate gently used books to underserved schools in SD.

We hope to grow the program into a broader community service initiative to bridge North County schools and schools in underserved communities.

Read It Again San Diego hosted a two day free book fair at Las Palmas Elementary in National City this week! Thank you to for welcoming us into your school community (going on four years!) Thank you to our partner schools and families in North County who donated THOUSANDS of books this past fall which were used in this week’s book fair! It was a pleasure to work with the Sofim youth group for their Good Deeds Day- 6th and 7th grade students along with counselors and parent volunteers helped us organize thousands of books for Read It Again San Diego in preparation for our future free book fairs!! We started 2024 with a FREE book fair for students and teachers at Las Palmas Elementary in National City!! K-6 students and teachers selected up to 10 free books of their choice. Thank you to Las Palmas for graciously opening your school to Read It Again San Diego once again, and thank you to all of our incredible partner schools for your book donations and hosting Read It Again book drives. These book fairs would not be possible without your generosity. Shout out to our Read It Again parent volunteers, not all pictured! 😉
