Name of the game is bring your e-legs or e-bikes as we have to climb climb climb to enjoy the sweet reward of the DH.

This trail system is rated blue and single black diamond. Expect fast flow, chunky and techy, skinny and exposure, loose and oh s**t factor type of trails.

Be padded up and prepared as these two trails will definitely test your abilities to maintain control or your bike while keeping a big smile on your face.

We will meet up at the bottom parking lot of Box Springs Mountain Reserve and begin the pedal up the mountain.

Wheels promptly rolling at 0700.

EVA’s very first fundraising challenge coin is officially on the way—and yeah, we know it’s big asf. It’s supposed to be.

This coin was never meant to be something small or ordinary. EVA was built to make a statement, deliver a message, and stand behind the Veterans who continue fighting battles long after the uniform comes off.

Every detail represents something deeper: the mountains represent the terrain we ride and the obstacles we continue to overcome; the chains represent strength, brotherhood, and an unbreakable bond; the warrior imagery represents the fight that continues after military service; and the words “NOT ALL WOUNDS ARE VISIBLE” speak directly to the reality of PTSD, trauma, and the battles many Veterans carry every single day.

For 14 years, Expeditionary Veterans Association has continued to put Veterans on bikes, build camaraderie, create purpose, and use the outdoors as a pathway toward wellness. As the longest-operating Veteran mountain bike program in California, we’ve watched this organization grow from an idea into a community—and this coin represents every mile ridden, every Veteran supported, every conversation on the trail, and every person who refused to quit.

The red and blue versions may look different, but the mission behind them is the same:

Remember the fight. Honor the Veteran. Support the mission. Keep moving forward.

This isn’t just a fundraising coin.

It’s a piece of EVA history.
It’s a symbol of 14 years of service.
And it solidifies exactly what we’ve always stood for:

NOT ALL WOUNDS ARE VISIBLE.

EVA — 14 Years Strong. And we’re just getting started.

A lot of people don't know there's a Buddhist Temple in Daley Ranch, so we are hosting this ride to do the tourist thing.

If you haven't ridden Daley Ranch before you known there is a lot of hidden gems but you have to pay to play, meaning you got to climb.

We will be hitting two secret places the Slab Lookout and the Buddhist Temple. The Temple is harder to get to as it has the longer climb out to get back, but the good thing is that it brings us back to the trail called Superman/Crest Trail which is out DH trail back. If e-legs and e-bikes allow, we may ride one or two more trails.

This is an advanced-beginner/intermediate leave ride and the difficulty is due to the long steeper type climbs. All DH trails are Green/Blue rated.

It is Summer time so this ride will promptly push off at 0700. Meeting will be at the top parking lot of Daley. https://maps.app.goo.gl/VJ1mr9wDoqSWuQLHA?g_st=ic
