The 13’s got a little baseball in before the rain.
•
Our tournament was cancelled, but not until after we had an exciting win. We trailed 0-1 at the bottom of the 7th. got a hit that brought in for the tying run and in for the winning run.
•
At that point the crowd went wild and in true walk off fashion the team rushed the field.
•
Nothing better than those happy faces crossing the plate.

When we play sometime we battle.
⚾️
Of course we battle the competition. But there are times we battle the blue. We’ve all been there. Call after call is blatantly bad. We need to battle! Sometimes the battle is in our heads.
⚾️
How do we win those battles? Fight harder!!! Fight in a way that ALL the bats hit. That ALL the gloves catch. That ALL the throws are made. That ALL the running gets to the next base. Battle harder!!!
⚾️
How do we prep for those battles? Just like Coach Prime says. Show me your practice! When you practice harder than you ever have to play, you will triumph. When you get your mental game in order, you will triumph.
⚾️
Game time is just a tiny part of baseball. It’s the practice field and home prep that gets us where we want to go.
⚾️

Strength. Agility. Speed. Reflexes. Endurance. All areas that can elevate in the winter.
•
You can see, we’re ready! But when 2024 hits, we will be stronger, faster, smarter!

It’s awesome to see so many kids with great camaraderie, having fun, showing skills🤔… that piñata action will come later.
⚾️
But most important, our people are our people and we have a pretty nice bunch.
⚾️
Keep an eye out for more party shenanigans posted all month long, with some actual baseball sprinkled in.
