🌟 STEM Night at Adobe Bluffs Elementary!🌟

SWE San Diego was thrilled to host a table at Adobe Bluffs ES STEM Night with our amazing partners SDSU, Westview SWENext, and FTC Robogenesis!** 💜💡

Events like this are so important because they spark curiosity and empower young students to imagine themselves as future engineers, scientists, and innovators. Having **near-peer role models** is crucial in helping students see what’s possible and believe they belong in STEM. ⚙️✨

A huge thank you to our dedicated **SWE professionals**, inspiring **collegiate members**, and passionate **SWENexters** who made the evening unforgettable. Your mentorship and enthusiasm truly light the path for the next generation of STEM leaders! 🙌💫

Special shout-out to President, Dr. Tracy Nguyen,for organizing this impactful outreach for the third year in a row, inspiring and engaging over 200 students! 👏💜

Please show your support as our FY26 SWE San Diego President (SWE Counselor) has been nominated as "Non-Profit Rising Star" for the 2025 Celebrating Women Awards✨

Dr. Tracy currently leads the San Diego Section of Society of Women Engineers and has mentored thousands of young women worldwide as a SWE Counselor for over 30 SWENext Clubs. She also volunteers on STEM and advocacy boards, mentors students through FIRST Robotics and the Girl Scouts, and champions inclusive leadership that breaks barriers and uplifts underrepresented voices across the STEM community.

Dr. Nguyen pioneers inclusive leadership in STEM advocacy, proving that passion and vision drive meaningful change. Serving on SWE leadership since FY21, her innovative approach and tireless dedication set a new standard for community-building and empowerment, making her a standout trailblazer in advancing diversity and inclusion in engineering. She believes deeply in cross-organizational collaboration, working alongside groups like NSBE, SHPE, LatinaGeeks, and Latinas in Tech to build strong, united communities that uplift and inspire the next generation.

Last night, SWE San Diego proudly supported the 6th Annual Day!
