📣 SCA vs. Heart Attack — What’s the Difference?
Knowing the signs can save a life. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA) is not the same as a heart attack — and it’s the #1 cause of death in young athletes (per the CDC & AHA). 🫀💔

Here’s how to tell the difference:
✅ SCA = the heart suddenly stops beating. The person is unresponsive and not breathing. It can happen at any age, even to healthy kids and teens.
🩷 Heart Attack = blood flow to the heart is blocked. The person is usually awake and breathing and it typically affects older adults.

🧠 Key takeaway:
➡️ SCA = electrical problem — needs CPR and an AED immediately
➡️ Heart attack = circulation problem — needs medical attention ASAP
