DON'T BE SO SURE.

CNN is reporting that LGBTQ migrants are being deported from the United States to third countries where their sexuality may place them in danger.

Before Christians decide that suffering inflicted upon LGBTQ people must somehow represent the righteousness or judgment of God, perhaps Scripture itself should make us slow down.

S***m was already described as wicked in Genesis 13:13.

Yet in Genesis 14, when Chedorlaomer carried away the people and possessions of S***m, Abraham did not say, "They are wicked. Let them suffer."

Abraham went after the captives.

Scripture says:

"And he brought back all the goods, and also brought again his brother Lot, and his goods, and the women also, and the people."
Genesis 14:16 KJV

Then, when God's judgment of S***m approached in Genesis 18, Abraham did something else remarkable.

He interceded.

He asked:

"Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"
Genesis 18:25 KJV

Abraham knew S***m was wicked.

But knowing that S***m was wicked did not require Abraham to become S***m's enemy.

And then there is Jonah.

Jonah knew Nineveh was wicked. God knew Nineveh was wicked too.

But when Nineveh repented and God showed mercy, Jonah became angry.

That should frighten every religious person who has ever become more comfortable with another person's destruction than with God's mercy.

And Paul gives us another warning.

Romans 1 does not exist without Romans 2.

"Therefore thou art inexcusable, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself..."
Romans 2:1 KJV

So whether you hold a traditional Christian understanding of sexuality or an affirming one, Scripture leaves us with a warning:

Don't be so sure.

Don't be so certain that because you believe someone else is wrong, everything done against that person suddenly becomes right.

Don't be so certain that another person's sin makes your contempt holy.

Don't confuse moral conviction with permission to harm.

And don't presume that because judgment exists, you have been appointed to administer everything you believe that judgment should look like.

"The secret things belong unto the LORD our God: but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children for ever..."
Deuteronomy 29:29 KJV

There are things God has revealed.

There are things God has not.

And when God has not told us everything, humility is not compromise.

It is obedience.

Knowing that someone is in sin does not give us permission to despise God's mercy toward them.

We must never call evil good.

But church, be careful.

We must never call good evil either.

Almost Sunday. Always JESUS.

For the believer living with an unchosen LGBTQ orientation, godly surrender does not mean giving up or giving in from weakness.

It means coming under God’s leadership and learning to depend on Him every day.

Jesus says:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 KJV

He does not say, “Come when you have figured everything out.”

He simply says, “Come unto me.”

Come weary. Come burdened. Come needing Him.

Surrender is not defeat. It is discipleship.

“Holiness is not a costume worn to earn the love of Jesus; it is what begins to grow when someone already loved by Him keeps surrendering every room of their life.” (2026 H&R Report)

Maybe tonight you do not need another argument, another answer, or another promise to try harder.

Maybe you simply need to come.

Bring Jesus the questions.
Bring Him the weariness.
Bring Him the rooms you are still afraid to open.

And tomorrow, surrender them again.

Almost Sunday. Always JESUS.

The believer with an involuntary LGBTQ orientation must understand that the fruit of Faith is not a mask or costume changes that satisfy crowds. But a life of discipleship that willingly brings all desires, wounds, questions, doubts and conduct and everything in between under the lordship of Jesus Christ. God can be trusted. The just shall live by faith.

I came to God as I am. I stay with God for who He is.

Whatever is left, I carry to the altar.

No performance. No mask. No pretending. Just mercy. 🙏🏾

CARRY WHAT IS LEFT — BUT HOW?

Maybe your life feels broken and you’re wondering what you are actually supposed to do with that.

Maybe you don’t have money.
Maybe you don’t have transportation.
Maybe you can’t get to church tonight.
Maybe nobody is coming to rescue you.

You can still go to the altar.

The altar does not have to be inside a church building.

Today, right where you are:

1. Get quiet before God.
Sit on the side of your bed. Kneel beside it. Sit in a chair. Go into the bathroom if that is the only private place you have.

2. Tell God the truth.
No performance. No religious language necessary.

“Lord, this is what happened to me. This is what I did. This is what I lost. This is what I ruined. This is what hurts. And this is what I have left.”

3. Ask for mercy.
Not because you deserve another chance, but because mercy is part of who God is.

4. Confess what you know was wrong.
Don’t call sin a mistake when you know it was sin. But don’t take responsibility for somebody else’s abuse either. Tell the truth about both.

5. Give God what remains.
Your body.
Your mind.
Your time.
Your phone.
Your gifts.
Your sobriety.
Your future.
Your next decision.

You may not have much left. Give Him that.

6. Do one act of obedience before you go to sleep.
Delete the number.
Pour it out.
Block the account.
Make the apology.
Tell somebody the truth.
Take the medication you are supposed to take.
Open your Bible.
Turn off what keeps pulling you backward.
Ask for help.

You do not need money to repent.
You do not need transportation to pray.
You do not need a microphone to surrender.
You do not need a perfect life to come to Jesus.

You just need to bring what is left.

Psalm 51:17 KJV
“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.”

Tonight, your altar may simply be the floor beside your bed.

Go there.

Carry what is left.

Today, someone in authority said something to me I'll probably never forget.

She looked me in the eyes and called me a beautiful soul...

I almost cried.

Not because I suddenly believed I was amazing.

But because I remembered who I used to be.

I grew up deeply insecure.

At 14, I was put out of my house because I was gay. That same year, I lost my virginity. By 16, I had my first STD. From that point on, I lived with the expectation that rejection was inevitable. It was never a matter of if people would reject me... only when.

That mindset affected every area of my life.

I performed for acceptance.

I tried to prove my worth.

I confused approval with love.

Looking back, I can see how insecurity caused me to mishandle relationships, burn bridges, miss opportunities, and miss the value of honor, healthy communication, boundaries, wisdom, and righteousness.

Then Jesus Christ showed me the real battlefield.

It wasn't first around me...

It was within me.

"For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."

2 Corinthians 10:3–5 (KJV)

Everything my case manager saw today is the result of the patience, mercy, discipline, and transforming power of Jesus Christ.

He has been renewing my mind...

One thought at a time.

Today, my identity is not found in my past, my failures, my sexuality, or other people's opinions.

My identity is found in Jesus Christ.

Whether people accept me or reject me no longer determines my value.

I'd rather be accepted by God than applauded by the world.

To Jesus Christ alone be all the glory. ❤️

Every time I flush the toilet... Thank You, Jesus.

Every time I cross the threshold of a door... Thank You, Jesus.

Every time I sit down... every time I get up... Thank You, Jesus.

Every time I hear the click of a seat belt... Thank You, Jesus.

Every time I slip my foot into a shoe... Thank You, Jesus.

Every time clean water comes from the faucet... Thank You, Jesus.

Every time I take a bite of food or a sip of water... Thank You, Jesus.

Every time I hear the voice of a loved one... Thank You, Jesus.

Every time I hear the voice of a friend... Thank You, Jesus.

And every time I hear the voice of a hater... 😆🤣
THANK YOU, JESUS!

Why?

Because “THANK YOU” is not always the end of something...

Sometimes, “THANK YOU” is the beginning. 🔥🙌🏽

🚨 WARNING... YOUR MOST DANGEROUS ENEMY MAY SOUND LIKE YOU. 🚨

Transformation requires warfare... not intelligence alone.

2 Corinthians 10:4–5, KJV
“For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;
Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.”
Every thought... reasoning... belief... or form of knowledge that exalts itself against what God has said is an enemy to confront... not a voice to consult.
That enemy may be especially dangerous because it can sound reasonable... feel familiar... and disguise itself as your own wisdom.
But God has not left us defenseless. Our weapons are mighty through Him.
Pull down the stronghold.
Cast down the imagination.
Capture the thought.
Bring it into obedience to Christ.
Today... identify the thought. Compare it with Scripture. Reject what contradicts God. Replace it with truth. Then obey Christ before that thought becomes a stronghold.
The evidence of true warfare is not that every struggle disappears overnight...
It is that whatever opposes the will of God is no longer permitted to remain on the throne of your heart, mind, and life.
What thought have you been entertaining that God has already contradicted?
Transformation requires warfare... and every thought must bow.
