Grateful to be part of conversations that center growth, collaboration, and real impact. 🧡

At the Nonprofit Leadership & Governance Symposium, our cofounders Dr. Brittany Wheeler, Director of Education, and Jasmine LeFlore, Executive Director, joined the “Money Helps. Learning Together Sustains.” panel alongside fellow Equity Impact Grant recipients.

Through a more interactive, meet-and-greet style session, attendees had the opportunity to connect directly with organizations, learn about the work happening in their communities, and engage in meaningful dialogue.

Thank you to The Nonprofit Institute at USD and the County of San Diego for creating spaces that bring people together with intention.

Darcy and Hazel first connected with Greater Than Tech through our Defy Gravity Community Program and have continued growing their skills as part of our GTT Alumnae Club đź’»

For their VR capstone project, Lights Out đź’ˇ, they addressed the limited access to affordable medical education and the lack of real-world experience that can lead to insecurity for trainees. Their solution combines education and VR to create a more accessible, hands-on learning experience, allowing users to practice realistic anesthesiology training while reducing barriers to entry.

Your support continues to make journeys like theirs possible đź’›

It’s a reminder that learning about AI doesn’t have to be complicated or out of reach, it can start with small, accessible steps.

We’re celebrating by hosting a hands-on AI workshop for middle and high school girls through our GTT Alumnae Club, alongside an engineer from Collins Aerospace.

Showing up in spaces where students can explore, ask questions, and imagine new possibilities is what matters to us.

We had the opportunity to be part of both the F.A.N.C.Y. Teen Girls Expo and STEM Pi Day with .d.diego, connecting with students and families through hands-on STEM experiences, shared resources, and real conversations about what’s possible.

What made these moments even more meaningful is that our Alumnae Club showing up as volunteers. The same students who have been part of our journey are now informing the next generation, creating spaces where students feel seen and inspired to explore their own paths.

And a special thank you to for supporting our community through their generous ticket donation.

If you know of events, schools, or spaces where Greater Than Tech should be, we’d love to connect. 💫

At the F.A.N.C.Y EXPO, Dr. Brittany led the Rewrite Reality AI workshop

Moments like these matter, creating space for students to question, create, and think critically about the tools shaping their world.

Participants engaged with AI in a hands-on way, exploring how it influences what we see and how it can be used more intentionally.

We’re looking forward to continuing to grow this work and bring it to more students and communities.

Some of the most meaningful parts of a person’s journey never make it onto a resume.

The challenges we overcome, the confidence we build, the moments we choose to keep going even when the path isn’t clear, these experiences shape who we become.

Jasmine LeFlore, Co-Founder and Executive Director of Greater Than Tech, shared with students the importance of their “Un-resume” as a keynote speaker at the Women Who Inspire Conference at San Diego State University.

Her story reminded the audience that the unseen work behind every journey matters. When we recognize the full path someone takes to achieve success, we create more space for the next generation to lead, innovate, and thrive.

Our GTT Alumnae Club recently had the opportunity to step inside The Brain Observatory for a closer look at how scientists study the human brain.

During the visit, founder Dr. Annese guided our students through the lab, sharing how brain imaging, research, and data help advance our understanding of neurological health and future medical breakthroughs.

Thank you, Dr. Annese for welcoming our alumnae and for such a insightful and educational tour. đź§

International Women’s Day weekend with GTT 🧡

We spent the weekend showing up across our community, supporting girls in STEM, connecting with women leaders, and learning alongside our alumnae.

The F.A.N.C.Y. Teen Girls Expo, the International Women’s Day celebration The Group Chat IRL, and our Alumnae Club visit to The Brain Observatory each created space for learning, connection, and celebrating women leading in their fields.

Grateful for the students, partners, and community members who made this weekend so meaningful.

During Black History Month, our community came together for the SoulCycle Block Party Ride at SoulCycle La Jolla to celebrate wellness, connection, and investing in the next generation.

Hosted by Channelle McNutt and Brian Levett, and led by SoulCycle coaches Alexis Nseya and Maya Monza, this special ride brought people together for something bigger than a workout.

Together, we raised over $2,000 to support Greater Than Tech and our mission to empower the next generation of tech leaders.

Thank you to everyone who rode, supported, and showed up for our community. The future we’re building together is powerful. 💛
