He had a tough start, but thanks to a dedicated foster, he is now healthy and flourishing. He just needs a family to welcome him home!

🚨 URGENT: MAX NEEDS A HERO NOW!

Meet Max, who is running out of time at the South San Diego Bonita shelter. 🥺 He was surrendered through no fault of his own and is finding the loud, chaotic shelter environment incredibly stressful.

The staff and volunteers absolutely adore him. He is fun, loving, and incredibly smart! But as a high-energy working breed, he is deteriorating in a kennel and desperately needs a way out.

Grundel arrived at the Devore shelter with severe wounds, abscesses, and a URI. Our amazing friends at stepped up to rescue him, and your support helped cover the urgent vet care he desperately needed. 🩺✨

The best part? Grundel is now thriving in foster care! He’s incredibly happy, healing beautifully, and will be available for adoption once he’s fully healthy. 🏡
