Meet Orchid 🌸 a smart, affectionate, and delightfully quirky 3-year-old girl thriving in her foster home!

She’s house-trained, crate-trained, great in the car, and super eager to learn (she already knows sit, down, shake, “out,” “up,” and “let’s go”!). Orchid is low-key, loves napping, and is obsessed with tennis balls 🎾 stuffies, belly rubs, and long sniff walks.

✨ Her best quirks:
• Literally “purrs” when petted 🐱
• Checks on you in the shower 🛁
• Paws your phone when you need less screen time 📱
• Puts herself to bed at 11 PM 😴

🏡 Her Ideal Home:
Orchid doesn’t need to be the right dog for every home, just the right one for hers!
• No small pets: Strong prey drive (no cats or small dogs).
• Quieter setting: Best away from close-proximity small dogs; redirects well on leash.
• Large dog match: Tolerant of calm large dogs with a slow intro.

Orchid is available for adoption through the Santa Clarita Valley Animal Care Center. Her profile is featured on our homepage at pupprofile.org. Go check it out to learn more about Orchid! Share this post to help this deserving pup find her forever home! 🩵🐾

Happy Feel-Good Friday! 🐾✨

Meet Mama Uno. She was sitting on the euthanasia list at Devore with an upper respiratory infection, but Del Mar Dog Rescue stepped up and got her out just in time.

If her escape wasn’t miraculous enough, she gave birth in her foster home just two days later! They later discovered she’s also dealing with an old, broken leg. It breaks our hearts to think of what she endured, but your donations have helped her get the medical care she needs.

Del Mar Dog Rescue still needs support to get Mama Uno the best possible care. She needs surgery to save her leg. You can donate directly to Mama Uno’s care through our friends at DMDR by sending a Venmo to Del Mar Dog Rescue. 💛

Thank you for making miracles like this possible for mamas like Uno. Help us support more dogs like Mama Uno and donate to The Pups Fund today! 🐾🩵
