Part 2. Community Leaders from local organizations inspired us to think big, have a voice in politics, share our story (maybe even write a book!) and help those in need around us. There was even an encouragement to parents to be involved and become friends with your kids. What a stellar panel to close out the day!

City Heights Youth for Change presented their research on how youth see their community. Sharing about safety, interactions with law enforcement, and the beauty and diversity which makes City Heights a strong community.

What a day of inspiration. The 1st half of the day we learned how to bring value to the social media world and shift the narrative of how Africans are portrayed. We learned how education is a path to success - to seek significance, and success will come. We learned the importance of credit and saving money and how to build wealth. Stay tuned for Part 2...
