🎨 Calling all local artists! Help us bring the San Clemente Pier’s history and character to life!

The San Clemente Pier Conservancy, in partnership with the City of San Clemente, is excited to announce three new public art opportunities through our Art on the Pier program!

As we look ahead to the Pier’s 100th birthday, we’re inviting local artists and artist teams to share their creativity through three unique art installations at the Pier’s railroad underpass. This is an opportunity to celebrate the history, culture and coastal character that make our Pier such a special part of the community.

Artist honoraria range from $1,000 to $10,000.

Application deadline: November 16, 2026

One week from today… we’ll be jumping for joy for the San Clemente Pier!

Next Sunday, October 11, is our annual Pier Jump, the San Clemente Pier Conservancy’s largest fundraiser of the year. Every jump helps make important projects and improvements for our beloved pier possible.

A longtime supporter of the San Clemente Pier and the San Clemente Pier Conservancy, Fisherman’s helped make it an amazing night celebrating the Pier and the community that continues to support it.

We’ve been asked… DO GIRLS JUMP THE PIER, TOO?!

Ummm… obviously. 💁‍♀️

And honestly, some of our favorite Pier Jumpers are the women who take the leap for a reason. A birthday. A girls’ day out. Jumping for a friend who can’t be there. Or maybe because the San Clemente Pier just happens to hold a whole lotta memories in their heart.

And let’s be honest… the form? Usually on point. 😂

Seems like a pretty good excuse to do something slightly crazy. 😂🌊

Our annual Pier Jump is Sunday, October 11th!

For $1,000, you get your chance to take a Jump-for-Joy for the San Clemente Pier, with Marine Safety instruction and an optional ride back to shore. And because apparently only 15 people are crazy enough to do this… there are just 15 spots available!

Must be 12 or older, and jumpers under 18 need to be accompanied by an adult.

Whether you’re jumping, cheering from the sidelines, or just wondering “Who actually signed up to do this?” — come be part of it!

Because around here, we don’t just walk to the end of the pier and turn around. Sometimes we jump. 😉

Why does the San Clemente Pier Conservancy need to fundraise? Because our Pier belongs to all of us. 💙

The City of San Clemente works hard to keep the Pier safe and maintained, but the Conservancy helps fill the gap preserving the character, beauty and experience that make our Pier so special.

More than 2 million people visit the Pier every year. It’s where we fish, walk, watch sunsets, meet friends, take visitors and make memories. And with the Pier’s 100th anniversary and the 2028 Olympics just around the corner, there’s an incredible opportunity to make sure this San Clemente landmark looks and feels its best.

From painting and beautification to fishing line canisters, signs, restrooms, lighting, bike parking and improvements at the entrance your support makes a difference.

So when you see a fundraiser, sponsor opportunity or call to donate, know that it’s not just about fixing a pier.

🌊 SAN CLEMENTE , LET’S SHOW OUR PIER SOME LOVE!

Our Pier is one of the things that makes San Clemente, well… San Clemente. ❤️

In 2028, our beloved Pier will celebrate its 100th birthday, and our community will also be in the spotlight as Olympic surfing comes to Trestles.

That’s a pretty special moment for our little beach town.

The San Clemente Pier Conservancy is working to beautify the entrance to the Pier at Avenida Victoria and create a welcoming space that reflects what makes our town so special.

And we need our local community to help make it happen.

Okay, San Clemente… who’s feeling a little crazy? 😂🌊

You’ve walked the Pier. You’ve fished off the Pier. You’ve watched sunsets from the Pier…

But have you ever jumped off the Pier? Legally 😂

The San Clemente Pier Jump is happening Sunday, October 11, and we’re looking for 15 brave souls willing to take the leap — all in the name of keeping our beloved Pier around for generations to come.

And yes… you’re actually jumping. 😳 so many of you have experienced back in junior guards or watching your kids do it over the years.

It’s the San Clemente Pier Conservancy’s biggest fundraiser of the year, with a $1,000 donation per jumper going toward the future of our iconic Pier.
