Ready to take the leap for San Clemente Pier? Sunday, October 11, it’s your chance to jump for a cause you love!

The Pier Jump is the San Clemente Pier Conservancy’s largest fundraiser of the year, and 100% of your $1,000 jump donation goes directly toward projects that help preserve and care for our iconic pier.

So yes… you get to jump off the pier. 🙌
But even better, your jump helps give our pier a future.

Back in June, we gathered with our supporters, partners, friends and community at our Launch Party to officially announce something very special after 10 years as the Pier Pride Foundation, we are now the San Clemente Pier Conservancy.

The name changed (still working on the name change in this space 😂) , but our commitment to San Clemente Pier is stronger than ever.

For the past decade, Pier Pride Foundation has worked to support, protect and celebrate this iconic landmark. Now, as the San Clemente Pier Conservancy, we are taking that mission into the future as we look ahead to an incredible milestone the Pier’s 100th birthday in 2028. 🎉

She’s turning 98 this October—and we’re celebrating by doing something BIG for the San Clemente Pier. ❤️

For nearly 100 years, our Pier has been where generations have walked, fished, surfed, watched sunsets, celebrated and made memories.

But preserving a historic landmark takes more than love. It takes community support.

The City of San Clemente invests approximately $525,000 each year in Pier maintenance, but there’s a gap between what the City can fund and what this nearly 100-year-old landmark needs to preserve her beauty, character and experience.

That’s where the San Clemente Pier Conservancy comes in.

And one of our biggest fundraisers of the year is the Pier Jump!

🌊 WHY THE SAN CLEMENTE PIER CONSERVANCY MATTERS 🌊

San Clemente Pier has been the heart of our community since 1928. For generations, residents and visitors have walked her planks, watched the waves, fished, surfed, celebrated and made memories on this iconic landmark. ❤️

But keeping a nearly 100-year-old pier beautiful, historic and welcoming is a big job—and the City of San Clemente is doing its part.

Today, the City spends an average of $525,000 each year to maintain the Pier, while more than 2 million people visit annually. With the loss of California Redevelopment funding in 2012, there is a significant gap between what the City can fund and what the Pier needs to preserve her historic character and experience.

That’s where we come in.

The San Clemente Pier Conservancy works in partnership with the City, community stakeholders, businesses and supporters to help fill those funding gaps through fundraising, private support, community partnerships and volunteer efforts.

The City keeps the Pier safe.
The Conservancy helps preserve her character, beauty and experience. 🌊

As we look toward the Pier’s 100th birthday in 2028, we have an incredible opportunity to come together as a community and make sure this beloved landmark continues to shine for generations to come.

San Clemente Pier Conservancy has come a LONG way in 10 years! 🌊❤️

What started with a simple love and pride for our beautiful San Clemente Pier has grown into years of capital projects, fun-draisers, community volunteers, meetings, planning and, most importantly, a community that believes in protecting this iconic treasure.

We’re proud of how far we’ve come—and we’re just getting started as we look toward the Pier’s 100th birthday in 2028! 🎉

The San Clemente Pier Jump is more than a FUN-raiser, it’s one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, with proceeds going directly back into projects that help preserve, maintain, and celebrate our almost 98-year-old San Clemente Pier. 🌊

Some projects just mean a little more. 🤍

A huge thank you to RSM Design for donating their time and talent to create the new look for the transition from Pier Pride Foundation to the San Clemente Pier Conservancy.

As board member and volunteer Maxwell Helms says, “We want the pier to thrive, not just survive.” Growing up in San Clemente, the pier was part of his childhood from Junior Lifeguards to surfing and now he’s helping protect it for the next generation.

This rebrand is more than a new logo. It’s a reflection of a community that loves this place and believes in preserving it for the next 10+ years and beyond.

Over the years, colorful art installations and murals, created through collaborations with the City of San Clemente, have added even more character to this beloved gathering place. Each piece reflects the creativity and spirit of our community.
