The Flora May Foundation

The Flora May Foundation The Flora May Foundation helps parents of at-risk youth. Mental health, substance abuse and rehab concerns. Call 949-899-3247. You just might find a new tribe.

Call us to gain free parental support groups, counseling, emergency transportation & insurance advocacy. We’ve helped mothers and fathers in a range of difficult-to-navigate parenting issues. The Flora May Foundation started out in 2015, helping parents & families of critically ill newborns staying at CHOC/ Children’s Hospital of Orange County’s Neonatal ICU. We donate new high-end baby books to t

he NICU Family Stay Library at CHOC. After an exhaustive 2 year venture in gaining Amazon as our primary donor, The Flora May Foundation had the means to extend our reach in helping a larger audience, in particular...PARENTS. There’s new monsters in our world today, the kind that can destroy lives and futures. The Flora May Foundation is an all-female minority owned and operated 501C3 non profit. The majority of our team of Volunteers, Leadership & Board of Directors have or are raising their own children. Our non profit is fortunate to have exceptional team of women, most who have been Mothers and who all contribute from a place of understanding and hard-won knowledge. If we can help other fellow parents in times of crisis, this fulfills our Mission. If we don’t have the proper resource, we’ll help you to find it. In the meantime, I strongly recommend attending a local BILY Meeting. What is BILY?:

Because
I
Love
You

A packed room, powerful stories, and a community that continues to show up in a big way.

Tuesday night’s Success with Purpose event brought together incredible nonprofit CEO’s, businesspeople, generous donors, and new faces ready to make an impact. We heard from three inspiring organizations, each doing meaningful work and reminding us why this matters.

Grateful to be part of something that continues to grow with such heart and intention. An enormous Thank You to Richard Ward (Founder of Success with Purpose) for building a movement rooted in community, intention, generosity, and purpose. A special shout out to Suzy Betz, my guest for Tuesday nights event. Thank you for coming AND being a Donor Member!

Last week’s Passkey’s Breakfast Meeting had a packed house. We listened to 2 non profits present their biggest challenge, and collectively came up with solutions for each. Pictured below: Debbie Hansen-Bosse, Ed Hart, Logan Altman, William Deed, Jennifer Sanghera and David Wetzel. This clan aren’t just colleagues, they‘ve become partners and friends.

One of the highlights of my work are the people I meet who become friends, like Jennifer Sanghera, of OneOC. We met last week to talk shop, about the first Advisory Council meeting of the year and other non-profit issues.
