The Flora May Foundation The Flora May Foundation helps parents of at-risk youth. Mental health, substance abuse and rehab concerns. Call 949-899-3247. You just might find a new tribe.

Call us to gain free parental support groups, counseling, emergency transportation & insurance advocacy. We’ve helped mothers and fathers in a range of difficult-to-navigate parenting issues. The Flora May Foundation started out in 2015, helping parents & families of critically ill newborns staying at CHOC/ Children’s Hospital of Orange County’s Neonatal ICU. We donate new high-end baby books to the NICU Family Stay Library at CHOC. After an exhaustive 2 year venture in gaining Amazon as our primary donor, The Flora May Foundation had the means to extend our reach in helping a larger audience, in particular...PARENTS. There’s new monsters in our world today, the kind that can destroy lives and futures. The Flora May Foundation is an all-female minority owned and operated 501C3 non profit. The majority of our team of Volunteers, Leadership & Board of Directors have or are raising their own children. Our non profit is fortunate to have exceptional team of women, most who have been Mothers and who all contribute from a place of understanding and hard-won knowledge. If we can help other fellow parents in times of crisis, this fulfills our Mission. If we don’t have the proper resource, we’ll help you to find it. In the meantime, I strongly recommend attending a local BILY Meeting. What is BILY?:

BILY is a California support group for PARENTS going through turbulent times with their children (of any age). Debbie Hansen-Bosse isn’t just dancing for the Flora May Foundation. She’s dancing for the organization she founded and the families she has dedicated herself to helping.

At this year’s Dancing with the Santa Ana Stars, Debbie is taking the stage in support of the Flora May Foundation.

Founded by Debbie in honor of her mother, Flora May Hansen, the Flora May Foundation has been serving Orange County families since 2015. Today, the organization provides free support to parents navigating serious challenges with their teens, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, school refusal, self-harm, neurodivergence, and runaway or missing youth. Services include consultations, referrals, parent support groups, emergency transportation, and ongoing guidance.

The Foundation also helps women rebuild their futures through its Working Women Winning program, expanding its mission beyond crisis intervention to empowerment and greater financial independence.

For Debbie, this one is personal. The Flora May Foundation carries forward a family legacy of helping others, and every donation helps that work continue.
