📢 Exciting News! Save the Shores is thrilled to announce that our Little Free Libraries are now installed and open for the community! 📖
You can find our brand-new libraries at two fantastic locations:
1️⃣ Marlin Park: Right near the Tennis/Pickleball Court, immerse yourself in a world of words while enjoying the beautiful surroundings. Grab a book, leave a book, and let the magic of literature inspire you!
2️⃣ Sandpiper Community Center: Just outside the main entrance, this library offers a literary haven for our youth. Take a moment to explore the age-appropriate collection and discover stories that captivate your children’s imaginations.
📦 We’ve also relocated the Little Free Library at Shorebird Park to be more visible and accessible to the community! You can now find it in front of the Tennis/Pickleball Court entrance.
Whether you're a bookworm, an avid reader, or simply looking for a new adventure, our Little Free Libraries are here to ignite the joy of reading in our community. Feel free to borrow a book, share your favorites, or donate gently loved reads.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the generous supporters who made these libraries possible, including our Redwood Shores Girl Scouts Troop for designing and painting the libraries. We also appreciate the Redwood City Parks, Recreation & Community Services team for matching our contribution and installing the libraries on our behalf. Together, we're fostering a love for literature, promoting environmental sustainability, and building stronger community bonds.
Please spread the word, and let's make these libraries a hub of knowledge, imagination, and connection for all. Tag a friend who loves books, and join us in celebrating the joy of reading! 📚❤️🌊
