Our 9th Annual Holiday Extravaganza was a hit! Every year (around the holidays) we get flooded with calls from families in need of toys, food, and resources. We're happy that we were able to serve ALL of the hundreds of people who drove through. Thank you to all of the event supporters. It couldn't have been done without your donations and/or assistance. Thank you to St. John's Episcopal Church, San Bernardino, Beatrice Lilly, The Threshingfloor, Tamiko Humbledservant Lisby, MOMMA Mourning Mothers Association, Michael Crossley, Black Biz Los Angeles Group, Fernando Young, California Highway Patrol(Riverside), Children's Fund, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation (Barstow), Pi Zeta Zeta Chapter, San Bernardino High School, etc...

It's that time of year again! Don't miss our 9th Annual Holiday Extravaganza.

When: This Friday, December 17th @ 4pm
Free toys and food while supplies last! It will be a drive through event in effort to keep our community healthy and safe. We look forward to seeing you. Children should be present in order to get a toy in order to be fair to those in attendance.

This event is presented in collaboration with The Threshingfloor, MOMMA Mourning Mothers Association, Defined Decor Express, Toys 4 Tots, Spark of Love, Black Biz Los Angeles, and St Johns Community Success Center.

LJR Arts Academy would like to wish Zion's Fields (one of our youth ambassadors) a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! We were excited (in collaboration with Pryde Pierce Films) to be able to create this visual for his latest song. We're counting down the release of this video! One of the things LJR Arts Academy is excited about is talented young man... Zion Fields! He's one of LJR's "Operation Make It Count" youth ambassadors. His music is amazing and inspirational.

As parents we definitely are concerned about what we let our kids listen to. Even the things we listen to (at times) can be questionable if we're honest. But we'll listen anyway because that beat is 🔥😒. What we love about Zion's music is there's always a positive or inspirational message... on top of that it's always 🔥🔥🙏🙌! We recently shot a visual to his debut song. It drops on August 26th (his birthday)! Follow this page for alerts and to watch the premiere of the video. Partnership #2: LJR Arts Academy is excited to be partnering with Tamiko Lisby of MOMMA Mourning Mothers Association. She's offering a summer camp to children in need within the Los Angeles county area starting TOMORROW. They will have access to fun, games, food, therapy, and fun workshops to sharpen their skills in a variety of different areas. There's still a couple of slots open to register your children and even to assist with this great cause

Partnership #1: LJR Arts Academy is excited to be partnering with Brandon Christopher Allen who will be offering a 10-week writers camp to youth in need.... Allowing for creative self-expression and opportunities for social emotional learning. Students will walk away from this program having the opportunity to present/perform their work as well as having it published in a book! Read more info about this amazing camp in the link below. Yes there is more room available if you know interested youth you'd like to sign up. There will be both in person and virtual opportunities available. Please reach out to find out ways to support this program.

n a time where so much has been taken away from so many, it is essential that we create spaces to give back to those who need it the most. This generation is one of the most creative and intelligent generations

LJR Arts Academy has had a crazy year with the pandemic. 100% of the work we do with youth and the community have been in person. With the stay at-home order EVERYTHING changed. We lost touch with many of our kids and watched others slip into a deep depression and get in trouble for various reasons related to Covid-19, the stay at home order, and distance learning. I’m blessed to be surrounded by like minded & big hearted people who have been quick to jump in and offer continued assistance to youth and the community during this crisis. LJR did this through “Operation Make It Count!”

During the holidays we were bummed to miss the in person celebration and community gift giving but we were still able to give away THOUSANDS of toys and food to the community during our drive thru event. This was a partnership with
The Threshingfloor, Life Changing Word, & MOMMA Mourning Mothers Association... So many smiles... so many people served! In 2020 the services and partnerships continue. We're excited to share what's coming next!
