This page was created by husky rescue and transport volunteers to network huskies in California shelters. There is a minimum of at least 70 huskies in CA shelters at all times. How do I adopt one of the huskies? Depending on the shelter and dog, it's as simple as going to the shelter and adopting the dog. Each thread gives information about the dog. Fees at shelters range from $50-150 dollars and most require in-person adoptions. Some will allow phone adoptions but you will need to secure help collecting and transporting that dog at your own cost. I can't adopt, how can I help?
