What’s up disabled veterans of the inland empire. It’s time once again for DAV Ch 12 general meeting on June 11, next Thursday. This is a great chance to learn the latest and greatest of what’s going on in your Veteran community as well as see our garden and resource center. Starts at 11 AM but feel free to get there early and say hi. The meeting is followed by a potluck so bring some snacks for all of us. As always, free coffee is available to veterans and their dependents and It is said that the legendary Max Hernandez may possibly bring donuts for everybody. Hope to see you there.

Congratulations to Jose Louie Mendoza on being elected the new State Commander for the Disabled American Veterans Department of California! 🇺🇸

Jose has shown true dedication to veterans, leadership to our organization, and a heart for helping others succeed. His experience, work ethic, and passion for service will inspire members across the state.

Congratulations as well to Melissa Sousa on becoming Senior Vice Commander, Steve Salas on becoming Junior Vice Commander, and Enrique Ramos on becoming Department Adjutant. Together, this leadership team represents the strength and future of DAV California.

Today, they proudly carry the torch for the next generation of veterans — honoring the past while leading DAV California toward an even stronger future.

Today for Memorial Day, DAV Chapter 12 remembers and honors the brave men and women who gave their lives for our country. We also keep our Gold Star families in our thoughts today, as their sacrifice is one that continues every day. May we never forget the true meaning of Memorial Day and the freedoms we enjoy because of those who served.
