Thanks to the we have the opportunity to beautify our center. Get crafty with us! Dive into the art of hand-building your own unique flower pots to install at the IE Unity Center. From rolling out slabs to forming coils and pinch pots, we’ll guide you through each step. Decorate your creations with the sgraffito technique and bring your vision to life with vibrant underglazes. Each participant will craft two pots - one to contribute to our community installation and one to take home. Expect your masterpieces to be ready in 5-6 weeks, just in time to see them flourish with succulents at our center. Join us later for a community party to celebrate your creativity!

Join us Thursday in person on August 18th at 5:30 pm at the IE Center for Community Organizing for our CA WFP San Bernardino Welcome Gathering. We’ll be hosting space for new members and supporters to learn more about WFP, and meet local community leaders, and other folks looking to build political power in San Bernardino. At the end of the night, there will be a raffle drawing for WFP t-shirts, buttons, and stickers. RSVP using the link in our bio!

We want to thank Assemblymember Eloise Gómez Reyes for visiting our space last Friday.

Also, special shoutout to Just San Bernardino - Just SB and our partners for using our space to host community focus groups to gain input from residents to help influence the City of San Bernardino's Investment Playbook. The Playbook plans to use local, state, and federal funding opportunities to improve local infrastructure and increase sustainability for people citywide.

Through these focus groups, community residents will make it clear to city officials that economic justice MUST be at the spirit of San Bernardino's improvement and prosperity.

Queremos agradecer a la asambleísta Eloise Gómez Reyes por visitar nuestro espacio el viernes pasado.

Además, agradecemos especialmente a Just San Bernardino y a nuestros socios por utilizar nuestro espacio para organizar grupos de discusión de la comunidad con el objetivo de obtener las opiniones de los residentes para ayudar a influir en el cuaderno de inversiones de la ciudad de San Bernardino. El libro de inversiones planea utilizar las oportunidades de financiamiento local, estatal y federal para mejorar la infraestructura local y aumentar la sostenbilidad para la gente en toda la ciudad.

A través de estos grupos de discusión, los residentes de la comunidad dejarán claro a los funcionarios de la ciudad que la justicia económica debe estar en el espíritu de la prosperidad de San Bernardino.
