Today, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

This Memorial Day, the San Bernardino High School Alumni Association proudly remembers and salutes all who served—and especially our fellow Cardinal soldiers, past and present. From the battlefields of history to today’s front lines, your courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Your legacy lives on in the halls of San Bernardino High School and in the hearts of the Cardinal community. We thank you. We remember you. We honor you.

✨ After nearly 92 years, the SBHS Performing Arts Center (formerly the Auditorium) is officially reopening! ✂️ This historic building, the oldest on campus, was built during the Roaring '20s and completed during the Great Depression. It also houses the only Federal Art Project (FAP) in San Bernardino, still owned by the federal government today. 🏛️

Come see the stunning renovations of this iconic space that’s seen nearly a century of history!

🎉 Join San Bernardino City Unified School District and the San Bernardino High School Alumni Association for the grand celebration!

Congratulations Cardinals!!!

It is with profound sorrow that the SBHS Alumni Association announces the passing of Dr. G. Keith Dolan, former principal of San Bernardino High School. Dr. Dolan passed away peacefully at his home on November 11, 2024, surrounded by his beloved wife and daughters.

Dr. Dolan served as the 14th principal of SBHS, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, leadership, and service to both the school and the community. Under his guidance, key milestones were achieved, including the creation of the Cardinal City Charter and the welcome rally for the Santa Fe Bell (Victory Bell). He also tapped history teacher Bryan Burke to help establish the SBHS Archives, which later became the Cardinal City Museum, preserving the rich history of our school for generations to come.

A tireless advocate for the students and staff of SBHS, Dr. Dolan often reflected fondly on his time at the school, always remembering his students with great affection.

Dr. Dolan’s impact on SBHS and the community is immeasurable, and his memory will continue to inspire us all. We extend our deepest condolences to his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
