🪩💕Be our Disco Heart this Friday February 14th for our opening night for our gallery 💕🪩

Open to the public: Feb 14 - March 19

Join us for ‘Disco Hearts’, a vibrant showcase of love, dazzling expression, and community with art by local q***r artists!

Opening Night Pop-Up: Friday, Feb 14, 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Location: The Garcia Center For The Arts, 536 W 11th St, San Bernardino, CA 92410

Bring your sweetheart or your bestie to enjoy live performances from & 💕
Food vendors will be cooking up some delicious hotdogs, win some raffles, and check out our featured artists presenting their work. Tickets are FREE/Pay-what-you-can donation available in our bio or at the door. If you are in the position to donate, all proceeds are divided between featured performers, The Garcia Center For The Arts, and the Trans Unity Center going towards future TransUnitySB events and sponsored artist opportunities to further shine a spotlight on LGBTQ+ artists. All events are 100% community funded. Any donation will enter you into a raffle to win art prizes. Opening night is 18+ with a 21+ beverage fundraiser.

Enjoy a night of art and entertainment at An IE Q***r Art Show Special Event!
Tour An IE Q***r Art Show exhibition at featuring works by , , and and explore the adjacent auditorium featuring live performances by and . Visit the featured artist booths to enter a $1 raffle for a chance to take a piece of art home with you.
✨March 11th 7pm-10pm
✨Event is 18+
✨BYOB for all 21+ attendees
✨Tickets are a Pay What You Can donation - If you are in the position to donate, all proceeds will go towards future Trans Unity events and sponsored artist opportunities to further shine a spotlight on LGBTQ+ artists.

We are so very thankful to all who played a role in making the opening reception of "An IE Q***r Art Show" a resounding success! A special thank you to the staff, volunteers, and the IE art community for giving us the opportunity to showcase these talented q***r artists. We’re working on a resource booklet & would love your input! Please visit the link in our bio to complete our LGBTQ+ friendly spaces survey. Many of our volunteers have shared stories about facing discrimination when they try to pay for services; such as being turned away as a trans woman wanting to get her makeup done, or being fearful when walking into a barber shop as a non binary person. We want to start a list of businesses that are either LGBTQIA+ owned or who proudly support our community’s patrons.

We are still accepting donations via cash app $TransUnitySb if you would like to donate towards feeding even more families.

Why we are doing this: Many organizations that offer meal services during the holidays are religion based. Unfortunately, many LGBTQIA+ families may not always feel welcome in those organizations due to unfair prejudices. We are striving to provide a safe space for LGBTQIA+ families to receive the resources they need.

We at the Trans Unity Center of San Bernardino are working hard to raise funds in order to deliver free Gratitude turkey dinners to LGBTQ+ families in need this holiday season. Many organizations that offer meal services during the holidays are religion based. Unfortunately, many LGBTQIA+ families may not always feel welcome in those organizations due to unfair prejudices. That’s why we are currently asking for donations to help us reach our goal so that we may provide a safe space for LGBTQ+ families to receive the resources they need.

We’re excited to announce that we will now be accepting donations via Cash App to $TransUnitySb. (Link in bio) Your support will allow us to continue to purchase space at Artwalks for q***r artists, host future art exhibitions and other community outreach. We will make an official post soon, but with funds raised, we plan on donating meals to LGBTQ+ families in need this holiday season. Thank you all for your support and generosity!🏳️‍⚧️✨
