Didn’t get to attend today’s meeting, here’s what we covered:
Eyeglass donations till May 8th (Earn service hours)
- Lions Club Scholarship application-Seniors pick up in B-14/ due April 28th
-UCD Diabetes Ambassador
-Juntos EOY Event May 5th at 5:30 in the library (Must have attended in the Fall and
RSVP’d)
-Teacher Appreciation week ideas
-Summer service project ideas/ club bonding events (open to graduating seniors too)
-Leo Club Member of the Month

Stepping up for a cause that matters 💙

Leo Club members Briana Castillo and Gabriel Lopez proudly hosted our Diabetes Awareness Walk alongside our amazing Lions Club partners. Despite a little rain, our community showed up strong—with 80+ walkers coming together to raise awareness and support 💪

A huge thank you to the South Texas Juvenile Diabetes Association and Unidos Health Organization for helping make this event impactful and meaningful.

Serving with purpose, getting our hands dirty, and making a real impact 🐢💚

Our Leo Club spent the day at Sea Turtle Inc. putting in the work—washing ATVs, cleaning sea turtle enclosures, mowing, w**d eating, dusting, and even helping with gift shop inventory. Every task mattered, and every effort helped support the care and protection of these amazing creatures.

Service isn’t always glamorous, but it’s always worth it. 🌎✨
