Small Acts. Big Impact.

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible SASO volunteers who spent their Saturday giving back with Book Buddies! Together, our team sorted and categorized dozens of books by reading level, helping ensure that SAISD students in PreK through 5th grade receive books that inspire, challenge, and ignite a lifelong love of reading.

Thank you to everyone who showed up with smiles, teamwork, and servant hearts. Your dedication is helping put the right books into the right hands, one story at a time.

Hey hey! 👋 What have our SASO members been up to lately?
Here's a quick look! 💙✨

🎬 Learning: We joined SAACAM for Slavery By Another Name and an impactful community discussion on history, civil rights, and local resources.

🌿 Serving: We helped beautify Classen-Steubing Ranch Park with a community garden cleanup.

🛏️ Giving Back: We built beds with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, helping ensure local children have a safe place to sleep.

We're proud to learn, serve, and make a difference—together. 💙

Our SASO students have been making a difference both in our community and in their own lives!

💙 They served at Haven for Hope, preparing and serving meals and volunteered with SNIPSA, helping care for adoptable puppies and creating a positive adoption experience for families

Students also continued their personal growth by attending "Lures & Lies," an empowering presentation that provided valuable tools for online safety, recognizing grooming tactics, and making informed decisions in today's digital world.

We're proud of our SASO students for demonstrating compassion, leadership, and a commitment to growth—both in service to others and in themselves! 💙

Shout out to our incredible volunteers who helped make the 2026 Special Olympics Texas Area 20 Topgolf Competition a success!
From setting up and tearing down the event, checking in volunteers, keeping score, supporting awards, and ensuring everything ran smoothly, your time, energy, and dedication created an unforgettable experience for the athletes!

Thank you for being the heart of this event and for helping create a day filled with smiles, encouragement, and unforgettable memories.

Our dedicated SASO volunteers were hard at work this past Saturday as they participated in the 12th Annual United Way Shoebox Project! 💙📦

From decorating shoeboxes and sorting donations to assembling care packages and packing them for distribution, their hard work helped provide essential everyday items to men, women, and children served by United Way's Safety Net and Community Impact agencies.

Thank you for serving with purpose and helping spread hope, dignity, and care to those who need it most.
