We’re firing up the pits to see who makes the BEST BBQ—Harlandale or McCollum! Bring your school colors, your appetite, and your Southside pride for a day of friendly competition and community spirit. ❤️💚

For generations, this rivalry has given us memories, friendships, and something to cheer for. Now, we have an opportunity to turn that same passion into something meaningful for ALL students of Harlandale ISD.

❤️ THIS IS WHAT IMPACT LOOKS LIKE.

This photo says it all.

These students are holding more than supplies — they’re holding opportunities made possible because people in our community chose to invest in them.

Through the Frontier Legacy Foundation teacher grant program, we’re able to put resources directly into the hands of educators and students across Harlandale ISD. And when you see the smiles, excitement, and gratitude in a photo like this, you’re reminded exactly why we started this Foundation.

This is bigger than a grant. It’s about showing our students and teachers that their community believes in them and is willing to invest in their future.

💯 FRONTIER LEGACY 100 | ROSE ANN MARTINEZ

Some people don’t just work in a community — they dedicate their careers to it. ❤️

We’re proud to welcome Athletic Director Rose Ann Martinez to the Frontier Legacy 100!

Rose Ann’s commitment to our district has been demonstrated over many years — first through her work as a coach, mentoring and developing our student-athletes, and now through her leadership as Athletic Director.

What makes this one especially meaningful is how quickly she stepped up. When Rose Ann heard about the Frontier Legacy 100 and what we’re working to accomplish, she immediately wanted to be a part of it. No hesitation. She understood that this is another opportunity to invest in the students and community she has spent her career serving.

This morning the Frontier Legacy Foundation had the opportunity to present our FIRST EVER Teacher Grants to eight elementary educators of the Harlandale ISD totaling $10,000!💰

These grants will support ideas these elementary teachers have to enhance the classroom learning experience and create more opportunities for their students. 📚✏️🎓

Congratulations to Erika Jaramillo, Norma Duran and Rita Ratnayeke from Bellaire Elementary; Kasandra Rodriguez and Sofia Gonzalez Gonzalez from Collier Elementary; Ruby Rodriguez from Gillette Elementary; Eva Ruiz from Stonewall Flanders Elementary; and Desiree Barrera-Smith from Wright Elementary.
