Families of Murdered Victims - San Antonio

Families of Murdered Victims - San Antonio Victim advocacy group aimed at providing resources & support for SA families affected by violence. We have 2 missions & goals for FMVSA, they are the following.

Mission #1 - Help after a loss

We understand that the hours and days after a tragic loss can be some of the most confusing moments in our lives. After such a blow no one wants to call information, Google or flip through the phonebook. Our minds cannot think logically when we are distraught, under extreme stress & emotion, Figuring out what to do next & who to call are essential after a loss but u

nderstandably not the first things on our minds. FMVSA will be here to offer advice, guidance, support & tips on resources. You can call, email, or text a member of our team and we will do our best to answer any and all questions. We will be providing, Helping-Hand-books which will be complete with pamphlets & flyers to any and all resources we feel can help ease the next few days, weeks, months and years. From contact information for the City Medical Examiner to support groups for the long run we hope to help ease your stress. Mission #2 - Help to the Community

Throughout the year FMVSA will be hosting different events and projects that will benefit the community and different causes. The months after losing my brother I pondered life and never had the phrase, "One day you're here & the next day you're gone" meant so much. How do I want to be remembered? Just as my brother is to be remembered, as a giver, this I will make sure of. Be sure to stay up to date with all the events & projects throughout the year, and don't forget to get involved.

A mother should never have to bury their children. Its been a lottle over 10 years and Ive seen my moms constant pain, but I am positive that there are millions of times that I haven’t seen her pain. As a sister my heart was torn into a million pieces. I used all of my strength and positive thoughts to help me move on every day after his murder.
I CAN NOT imagine the pain and heartache a mothers love has to endure. Time does NOT help with grief it just reminds you of the time you have spent grieving.
Blessings to all the mothers who are feeling this pain. ♥️🙏🏼😇
I hope my words expressed my heartache and love of strength for you. I am always here for you if needed. 😢

“Pooh sat very still beneath the stars, with tears gently rolling down his cheeks. He whispered to the night, hoping the stars might carry his words to where they needed to go. ‘I miss you,’ he said softly, his little voice trembling, ‘more than honey, more than anything in all the Hundred Acre Wood.’ And as he gazed at the brightest star above, he wondered if perhaps those we love never truly go away, but instead shine down from the sky, so that when we look up, we can feel them close. The night was quiet, except for the sound of his own heart remembering. ‘It hurts,’ Pooh thought, ‘but maybe that’s because love is so very big, and my heart is only so very small.’ And though the ache stayed, so did a gentle warmth, as if the star itself was whispering back: love doesn’t end, it only changes shape. Pooh wiped his eyes, folded his paws together, and promised that no matter how far away someone seemed, he would keep them close in every thought, in every star, and in every beat of his very small but very brave heart.” — Winnie the Pooh

Thinking of you and it doesn’t get any easier. I Miss you so much. I don’t think the world understands and sometimes neither do I.
I will always will have questions and I’ll never know or get the answers, but I do know that you were trying. I just wish more listened and understood all that you were trying to say amd do. I will forever carry you with me. You will forever be that part of me that cries out. I will shout and scream at the top of my lungs in memory of you.
ONE DAY…my dear dear brother. I will see you again and our screams will no longer be silent or needed.
