很開心看到聖安東尼奧市政府正式宣布10月10日為「台灣文化日」（Taiwan Heritage Day）！

對 SACCI/TCML 而言，這份肯定別具意義。我們一直致力於推廣繁體中文教育與台灣文化，讓不同年齡層的學生透過語言學習與文化活動，更深入認識台灣，也讓我們的文化與傳統能夠一代一代傳承下去。

恭喜 TAA-SA，也感謝所有長期投入台灣文化推廣的朋友們！讓我們繼續攜手，讓更多人看見台灣文化的美好！❤️

We’re excited to see the City of San Antonio officially recognize October 10 as Taiwan Heritage Day!

At SACCI/TCML, this recognition is especially meaningful to us. Through Traditional Chinese language education and cultural activities, we strive to connect students of all ages with Taiwanese heritage while sharing our language, culture, and traditions with the broader community.

今天是2026年10月10日，我們很開心與大家分享一個特別的好消息！

聖安東尼奧市政府正式宣布2026年10月10日為「台灣文化日」（Taiwan Heritage Day）！ 這份公告不僅肯定了台灣豐富的歷史與文化傳統，也表彰台灣人及台裔美國人對聖安東尼奧多元文化與社區發展的貢獻。

更讓我們感到榮幸的是，公告中特別肯定了聖安東尼奧台灣同鄉會（TAA-SA）多年來在推廣台灣文化、凝聚社群，以及促進聖安東尼奧與台灣交流方面的努力。 同時也提到聖安東尼奧與台灣高雄市自1982年締結姊妹市以來，持續深化的友好關係。

衷心感謝聖安東尼奧市長 Gina Ortiz Jones 及市政府給予我們這份珍貴的肯定！

當然，更要感謝每一位長期支持同鄉會的會員、志工與朋友。因為有大家的熱情參與和付出，我們才能在異鄉延續台灣文化、分享家鄉的美好，也讓更多人認識台灣。

🇹🇼 Celebrating Taiwan Heritage Day in San Antonio! 🎉

Today, October 10, 2026, we are especially proud to share some wonderful news with our San Antonio community!

The City of San Antonio has officially proclaimed October 10, 2026, as Taiwan Heritage Day! This special recognition honors Taiwan’s rich history, cultural traditions, and the contributions of Taiwanese and Taiwanese Americans to the cultural diversity and community life of San Antonio.

We are especially honored that the proclamation recognizes TAA-SA’s efforts in promoting Taiwanese culture, bringing our community together, and strengthening connections between San Antonio and Taiwan. It also highlights the longstanding sister-city relationship between San Antonio and Kaohsiung, Taiwan, established in 1982.

Our heartfelt thanks to Mayor Gina Ortiz Jones and the City of San Antonio for this meaningful recognition!

Most importantly, thank you to our members, volunteers, and friends who continue to celebrate our heritage, share our traditions, and help our Taiwanese community thrive in San Antonio.

This recognition belongs to all of us! ❤️

🍂 Good Food, Great Company, and Learning Beyond the Classroom! 🥮

Our SACCI & TCML Fall Family Potluck was more than just a gathering—it was a wonderful celebration of language, culture, and community!

Thanks to our students and families, we enjoyed an incredible variety of homemade dishes. But the highlight was seeing our TCML students take on the role of serving food, practicing their Mandarin through real conversations as they introduced dishes and interacted with guests. What a delicious way to learn! 🥢

The learning and fun didn’t stop there! We explored the origins and traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival through interactive quizzes and activities, bringing cultural stories to life. We also came together to wish a very Happy Birthday to our students and teachers born in September and October! 🎂🎉

We were especially honored to welcome Mr. Chia-Fu Kuo, Director, and Ms. Ting Yu Fang, Deputy Director, from the Culture Center of TECO in Houston. We are grateful for their visit and TECO’s longstanding partnership and support of TCML, from textbooks to teaching materials and resources that enrich our classrooms.

A heartfelt thank you to our students, families, teachers, and special guests for making this gathering so memorable.

🍂 美食相伴、歡聚交流，讓中文學習走出教室！ 🥮

今年 SACCI & TCML 的秋季家庭百樂餐，不僅是一場溫馨的聚會，更是一場結合語言學習、文化體驗與社區交流的精彩活動！

感謝學生與家長們用心準備各式各樣的美味佳餚！這次活動最特別的地方，是由 TCML 學生親自負責餐點服務，透過介紹菜色、與來賓互動，在真實的生活情境中練習中文，讓語言學習變得更自然、更有趣！🥢

除了享用美食，我們也透過趣味問答與互動活動，一起認識中秋節的由來與傳統文化，讓大家在歡笑中學習！活動中，我們也一起為 9 月及 10 月生日的學生與老師慶生，送上滿滿的祝福！🎂🎉

我們也非常榮幸邀請到 駐休士頓台北經濟文化辦事處文化中心郭家福主任及方婷玉副主任 蒞臨同歡。衷心感謝文化中心長期以來對 TCML 的支持，從課本、教材到各項教學資源，都是我們推動華語教育的重要助力。

最後，感謝所有學生、家長、老師及貴賓的熱情參與，讓這次聚會充滿歡笑與溫暖。
