This quote offers a small glimpse into the larger story of what it means to walk alongside youth and families through Ransomed Life's Mentor Program. đź’™

We are deeply grateful for the mentors who choose to show up consistently, offering encouragement, support, and hope to youth and young adults navigating some of life's most difficult moments. While our mentors invest in those they serve, they often find themselves equally impacted.

And that’s a wrap! ✨ The 24th Annual Behavioral Health and Wellness Conference was a huge success. With over 600 attendees, this is one of the most dynamic events of the year that San Antonio Antonio has to offer. Participation in events like this is critical for organizations, professionals, and families to truly understand the scope of what Ransomed Life has to offer the community.

Special thanks to The Center for Health Care Services (CHCS) and their commitment to supporting and serving the community!

You might see University Health as a big hospital system, but they do so much more behind the scenes. Ransomed Life recently attended an event hosted by the UH Trauma Survivor Network sharing about our services for their patients and families. đź’™

Often times referrals come through word-of-mouth, whether through presentation request or a counseling/mentoring referral. These are the moments that we grow as a trusted community resource and don’t take them for granted. 🙌

Shoutout to our summer Intern, Miranda, for joining us for her first community event 🎉

Today, we are sharing an important leadership update from Ransomed Life regarding an upcoming Executive Director transition.

We are deeply grateful for Sarassa’s leadership, dedication, and service to Ransomed Life and the many youth, families, and community partners impacted throughout her time as Executive Director. As she steps into a new ministry role, we celebrate her next chapter and the lasting impact she has made on this organization.

As outlined in the letter below, Ransomed Life remains strong, stable, and fully committed to our mission of prevention, counseling, mentoring, and community education. Our Board has already implemented a transition plan to ensure continuity in leadership, programs, and services as we move forward.

We are thankful for the continued trust and partnership of our community and look ahead with confidence and gratitude.

We were honored to recently attend the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce’s Quarterly Speed Dating Event and connect with so many incredible local businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders who are making a difference across our city.

As a proud member of the SAHCC, we’re grateful for the opportunity to build meaningful relationships, strengthen community partnerships, and collaborate alongside others who are passionate about seeing no child sold in our community!

One of the most impactful parts of this work is recognizing that lasting change happens through connection. Thank you to the SAHCC for fostering opportunities that support true community impact.

Thank you to everyone who supported Ransomed Life through Champions fore Charity, a fundraising program tied to the Valero Texas Open that empowers individuals and organizations to raise funds for local nonprofits. đź’™

Because of your generosity, we were able to raise $32,800, with an additional 7% match! ✨

From months of fundraising throughout the fall and spring to the ceremony luncheon where grants are awarded, this is truly one of the most meaningful community initiatives in San Antonio. 🙌

A heartfelt thank you to the Champions fore Charity team for their continued support in making this opportunity possible. We are honored by those who chose to invest in our vision of a community free from child sexual exploitation.

We were honored to attend the recent Church/School Workshop hosted by School Connect SA and are grateful for the opportunity to connect with faith and school leaders who are deeply invested in supporting students, families, and our community.

As a trusted resource for both churches and schools, Ransomed Life is committed to equipping communities through prevention education at every level - from youth and parents to school staff, ministry leaders, and community professionals.

We’re also grateful to serve as a support resource when schools and churches encounter individuals or families in need of counseling and mentoring services. These partnerships matter because creating safer communities takes all of us working together.

A special thank you to School Connect SA for the incredible work they do to strengthen our local schools, and to CBC West for graciously hosting this impactful event.

Instagram’s new “Instants” feature may feel harmless - but disappearing content can often create a false sense of security. Just because something is designed to disappear doesn’t mean it’s without risk.

Features like this are a great reminder for parents and caregivers to start ongoing conversations about digital decision-making, privacy, and what’s appropriate to share online.

The goal isn’t fear or control - it’s helping kids build the awareness and critical thinking skills needed to navigate online spaces safely.

Prevention starts with conversation. Check out the talking points and share with someone you love. đź’™

One of the most powerful moments from our 5th Annual Prayer Breakfast came through the courageous voice of one of our survivors.

As we shared a testimonial from one of our mentoring clients, we were reminded why Ransomed Life exists - to walk alongside those impacted by exploitation and trafficking with hope, support, and unwavering belief in what healing is possible.

We were deeply moved by her courage to share how Ransomed Life has impacted her life. Her story is a powerful reminder that behind every conversation, every program, and every act of prevention is the heart of this mission: supporting survivors and creating pathways toward healing.

This is why we do what we do. For every survivor. For every story still being written. đź’™
