Healthy students are the foundation of thriving communities. 💚

We’re proud to support the work of SAHRC and Edgewood ISD through the Bienestar/NEEMA Coordinated School Health Program—helping students build knowledge and habits around nutrition, physical activity, fitness, and lifelong wellness.

Investing in healthier choices today helps create healthier families and stronger communities for years to come.

We’re proud to continue our partnership with Edgewood ISD and Coach Ben Benavidez to support healthier students, families, and schools! 💚

A special thank you to the Harvey E. Najim Charitable Foundation for supporting SAHRC for the second consecutive year, helping provide Edgewood ISD with access to the TEA-approved Bienestar/NEEMA Coordinated School Health Program and incentive funding that goes directly back to the district.

Healthier schools. Stronger communities. 🌱

What if you could experience dyslexia from a student's perspective?
The Winston School San Antonio is proud to present the next installment of The Winston Learning Series: Experience Dyslexia® — A Learning Disabilities Simulation.
This interactive, hands-on workshop offers participants a glimpse into the challenges, frustrations, and experiences that students with reading and language-based learning differences may encounter in the classroom and beyond.
The goal isn't simply to learn about dyslexia, it's to gain a deeper understanding of what it can feel like to navigate a world that isn't always designed for the way you learn. We hope this experience inspires greater empathy, understanding, and advocacy for individuals with learning differences.

✨ Celebrating 3 Years! ✨

Veronica is celebrating 3 years as the Grants & Community Impact Manager! Over the past three years, she has been incredibly grateful for the relationships she’s built and the opportunity to see the amazing work happening throughout San Antonio and the surrounding community.

“Being an advocate for the organizations we serve means listening to their challenges, creating spaces for meaningful conversations and improvement, and helping bridge gaps so our community can thrive. I’m thankful to learn from so many passionate people who are making a difference every day, and honored to play a small part in supporting their work.”

Here’s to continuing to listen, connect, and help create a stronger community together. 💙

Investing in people creates lasting change.

Three years ago, a family’s journey intersected with an organization committed to meeting them with expertise, compassion, and hope. Today, that investment continues to create ripple effects—not only for one child, but for other families who now have greater access to answers, support, and opportunity.

At the Harvey E. Najim Foundation, we believe the strongest communities are built by investing in organizations that empower people to thrive. Congratulations to Autism Community Network on three years of meaningful impact. We’re grateful to be part of a story that continues to grow.

💜

Three years ago, Louisa Villareal became the very first child to walk through the doors of Autism Community Network's Harvey E. Najim Campus. As we celebrate our third anniversary, we're honored to share her family's journey—a story of hope, connection, community, and growth. 💜

A heartfelt thank you to the Villareal family for sharing your journey with us. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Harvey E. Najim, whose generosity helped make this campus a reality, and to the Texas Pediatric Society for investing in innovative programs that continue to expand opportunities for families.

Here's to three years of building connections, celebrating abilities, and empowering families, and to the many stories still to come.
