Golden Horn's K9 rescue "Saving Strays One Tail at a Time" San Antonio has a particularly poor reputation when it comes to stray cats and dogs.

The numbers of EBIs (euthanasias by injection) done annually by shelters is staggering, and avoidable, with spay/neuter education. Golden Horn's K9 Rescue takes homeless and death row dogs and finds them loving homes outside of Texas. This idea was born from Kaz personally saving San Antonio's street dogs since 1987, including her first, Golden Horn!
