2ND ANNUAL WARM HEARTS FUNDRAISER 🔥❤️

As the colder months approach, Spirit of Fire Motorcycle Ministry is gearing up for our 2nd Annual Warm Hearts Fundraiser!

Our mission is simple: Spread warmth, show compassion, and remind those facing homelessness that they are not forgotten.

We’re collecting donations of:
🧥 Jackets & sweaters
🧤 Gloves, scarves, beanies & socks
🛏️ Blankets
🧼 Personal hygiene items

Something as simple as a warm jacket or a blanket can make a tremendous difference to someone facing the cold without a place to call home.

“Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you.”— 2 Timothy 1:6.

Don’t Put It Off

Many times, we put off what we know God wants us to do. Maybe deep down God is dealing with us about forgiving someone, getting back in shape, having a better attitude, spending more time with our family, or pursuing our dream. But we’ve lost our passion and made up excuses for why we can’t move forward. We just go through the motions, with no enthusiasm, no zeal.

We’re living but not really alive.

We’re breathing but don’t feel our sense of purpose.

We have to remind ourselves of what the apostle Paul told Timothy in today’s Scripture. Fan the flame of what God has put in your heart and reignite the passion.

Don’t let disappointments, setbacks, or closed doors cause you to stagnate. Shake the complacency off and get a fresh new vision for your life.

As long as you’re not pursuing what God put in your heart, whether it’s a dream, new opportunities, or overcoming an obstacle, there’s going to be a sense of dissatisfaction.

Dare to take steps of faith into it and God will do what you can’t and make it happen.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You for entrusting me with gifts and talents. Thank You that You are breathing new life into me at this very moment and calling me forward. I am shaking off the blahs, fanning the flames, and stirring up my gift, and I believe You are restoring my passion.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.”

From henceforth let no one trouble me.
Galatians 6:17.

Your Henceforth Moment

The apostle Paul had all kinds of people come against him. The Jewish scholars he grew up with hated and persecuted him because he became a follower of Jesus. As a missionary, on top of being beaten, imprisoned, and shipwrecked, he had to deal with criticism, slander, lies, being misunderstood and betrayed.

He finally came to a point where he said about the troublemakers, “From henceforth let no one trouble me.” He was saying, “I’ve been through too much to let any person get me upset and riled up. I’ve made up my mind that I’m not going to try to win their approval, not going to lose sleep over who’s trying to discredit me and not going to be bitter over who doesn’t like me.”

Every one of us needs to have a similar henceforth moment when we determine to stay in peace in spite of someone’s rudeness, insult, disrespect, or offense.

You refuse to engage in conflict with them and let God fight your battles.

You’re free to enjoy your life, to pursue your dreams, to become who God’s created you to be.

Prayer For Today

Father, thank You that You didn’t create me to live upset and let other people get on my nerves and get me riled up. Help me to guard my heart and mind and leave issues with troublemakers in Your hands. I know that I have Your peace that passes understanding.

“When Isaac planted his crops that year, he harvested a hundred times more grain than he planted, for the LORD blessed him.” — Genesis 26:12.

Through Injustice to Greater Blessing

In Genesis 26, when Isaac was about to move to greener pastures in Egypt because of a great famine, God gave him an incredible promise: “Stay where you are, and I will bless you here.”

So, despite the hardships, Isaac obeyed, planted his grain, and was supernaturally blessed with a hundredfold harvest that brought him great wealth and livestock. But the Philistines got so jealous of Isaac that they filled in his wells, and the king told him he had to move away.

It wasn’t fair, but Isaac knew God’s promise that a greater blessing remained.

Here’s the key: You can be in God’s will and face opposition, but if you keep doing the right thing, God will take you to something greater.

When we face disappointments and setbacks, it’s easy to get discouraged and give up on what we’re believing for.

But sometimes you have to pass through injustice to discover the open door to what He has promised.

You can’t see it, but it’s all a part of His plan to bring you into an abundant place, something bigger than you’ve ever imagined.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You for the promise to bless me right where I am, even when I face opposition and hardships. I believe that You will multiply me even in the midst of famine and make me an example of Your goodness to others. I declare that I will keep doing the right thing and avoid conflict.

In Jesus’ Mighty Name, Amen.”

ONE WEEK TO GO!

We’re officially one week away from our Benefit Ride for Lulu! So, who exactly is “Lulu”?

Her name is Leslie, but Lulu is her road name and also the name her nephews and closest family have called her for years. She’s one of the founding members of Spirit of Fire, serving as secretary/treasurer, helping run our social media, and creating many of the graphics you see on our page.

And because apparently one Harley wasn’t enough in her life, she also has a corgi named Harley. 😂

Earlier this year, Lulu was injured in a motorcycle accident, tearing her ACL and both menisci in her right knee. After surgery, she’s been working through a long recovery and physical therapy, along with the medical expenses that come with it.

Now it’s our turn to show up for someone who has poured so much into SOF. ❤️

Join us next Saturday, October 10th, as we ride to help with Lulu’s medical expenses and recovery.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” – Psalm 23:1.

The Good Shepherd

In Psalm 23, the reason David could say that

“though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil”

is that he first knew “the Lord is my Shepherd.” It wasn’t because David was so strong and courageous that he never felt fear. It was because he knew he had the Good Shepherd, the Most High God, watching over him. When you’re tempted to be anxious and afraid, you need to remind yourself,

“The Lord is my Shepherd. He guards my way, protects me from evil, and will take me through safely.”

David ended the psalm by saying,

“Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life.”

He encourages us that after every dark valley, a “surely” is coming—surely healing is coming, surely greater is coming, surely new levels are coming. God is saying,

“Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and uphold you with My victorious right hand” (Isaiah 41:10).

No matter what you face, your best days are still in front of you, so keep moving forward.

Prayer For Today

“Father, thank You that You are my Good Shepherd in every situation, protecting me, guiding me, and changing me. Thank You that I can rest in You, knowing You will strengthen and uphold today’s scripture thank you God for waking me up this morning. Thank you for giving me another day me. Help me to always have this surely mentality that leads to victory.

In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen.
