The CC PTO is a community of parents, teachers, and support staff, who have formed a collective collaboration, which is charged with the education and nurturing of all Fort Sam Houston Elementary (FSHE) pupils. The PTO is chartered to:
• Provide support to our student body by being their advocates and representing them both internally and externally in the greater Fort Sam Houston (FSH) community
.
• Lend its energy, talent, and time to improve the quality of education.
• Promote and nurture a team environment among parents, teachers, students and non-teaching staff
• Embrace a collegiate relationship between educators and parents to ensure that all children and youth receive the highest advantages in physical, mental, and social education.
• To invite diverse and broad participation from parents in a variety of roles by embracing positive initiatives, ensuring clear, accurate and timely communication both within the PTO and externally to other stakeholders.
• To foster a community environment within the CC PTO, the FSH Independent School District and throughout the wider FSH community.
