Today, Big Sun Solar is working with CPS Energy to expand access to solar power through a community solar program that allows residents and businesses to benefit from solar energy without installing panels on their own rooftops.

This morning, VelocityTX President and CEO Rene Dominguez attended the San Antonio City Council A Session, where the Navy's 251st birthday was recognized in celebration of its long history of service to our nation.

VelocityTX has a special relationship with the Navy through our Partnership Intermediary Agreement with Naval Medical Research Unit - San Antonio.

Through this partnership, we help connect innovators with our region's military medical research assets, accelerating the development of life-saving technologies and treatments and helping get them to the frontlines faster.

W**e tasting and Mario Kart? Not a bad little Friday! 🍷🏎️

Our Corks & Carts campus social kicked off with a guided w**e tasting led by local sommelier Joshua Thomas, who shared a few finer points of appreciating a good glass of w**e.

Then it was off to the virtual racetrack for some spirited Mario Kart competition! A special tip of the hat to our own Brian Peters, whose lightning-fast reflexes behind the wheel were truly something to behold. 🏁

Wednesday afternoon, the VelocityTX Innovation Center hosted The CFO Leadership Council for a happy hour mixer, welcoming CFOs, finance executives, investors, and entrepreneurs from across San Antonio. The drinks and conversation flowed right up to the end, and we couldn’t be happier to have had this terrific group of leaders on campus!
