It was truly a night to remember at the Communities In Schools “Reunion Gala,” celebrating 40 incredible years of impact in San Antonio.

For four decades, Communities In Schools of San Antonio has been committed to surrounding students with a powerful network of support—helping them stay in school, overcome challenges, and achieve success in life. By working directly inside schools across Bexar County and beyond, they continue to connect students and families with the resources they need to thrive.

We’re honored that AM Project could be part of such a meaningful celebration at the Tobin Center. And a special shoutout to DJ Cyber Flame for closing out the night with an unforgettable dance floor experience.

Here’s to 40 years of impact—and many more to come.

January 2020—we met Franke. A kind, curious kid with a million questions about DJing… some we could answer, and some that had us looking at each other like, “uhhh…” That’s when we knew—we had a certified Smarty Pants on our hands 😄

Fast forward six years, and Franke—now known as DJ Cyber Flame—has grown into a leader at the AM Project, an incredible DJ, and a young man driven to create, learn, and push boundaries.

This month, he graduates from Basis and is headed to MIT (yeah… we meant it when we said Smarty Pants). We couldn’t be prouder.

Massachusetts, just know—you’re not only getting one of San Antonio’s brightest minds, you’re getting one of its coldest DJs too. College parties are officially on notice. Cyber Flame is bringing the heat 🔥

As for his success? Could be his amazing mom. Could be his competitive brother. Or maybe… just maybe… DJing with the AM Project made his brain real good 😂

Congrats, Franke. We’re proud of everything you’ve done—and even more excited for everything you’re about to do. Go change the world… we’ve got a feeling you actually will.

What a year with some incredibly talented students!

We wrapped up an amazing year at Essence School, and it’s been inspiring to work with such creative, energetic, and curious young minds. From day one, our K–4th graders jumped into discovering who they are and how they express themselves.

Each grade explored powerful themes like “My Feelings, My Voice,” “What Makes Me a Leader,” “My Community,” and “My Superpower” — and they brought those ideas to life in the most creative ways.

We even then a trip around the world (no plane tickets needed ✈️), exploring global cultures through music, art, landmarks, and food… mama mia, what a journey!

To close out the year, students stepped into the studio mindset — writing their own raps, learning rhyme structure, and creating original tracks. From school pride to sports, friendships to big dreams of fame and success, their voices were heard loud and clear.

We’re proud of every student and excited to see what they do next. Wishing you all the best in the next grade — keep creating, keep dreaming, and keep being YOU!
